Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Vince McMahon, Jim Duggan, Hillbilly Jim, Bobby Heenan and Mr. Perfect are the panel for this weeks episode. McMahon brings up Bret Hart becoming the new WWF World Championship by defeating Ric Flair last Monday. Duggan and Hillbilly celebrate the victory for Hart. Perfect tried to tell Flair to not sign for the match with Hart. Perfect claims that Flair was sick as a dog, but Flair is a great competitor and defended the title. Heenan says they can’t dwell on losing the title and considers it a fluke. Duggan reminds Heenan that Hart has held all three major titles in the WWF at this point. Heenan believes Flair will regain the title. Heenan says anyone can win by a fluke. McMahon notes that Hart won by submission with the Sharpshooter. Duggan chimes in and says it is the same hold that Perfect submitted to when Hart won the WWF Intercontinental Championship.

Martel puts abdominal stretch on Moon, but doesn’t get a submission even with using the ropes for leverage. Moon counters with an abdominal stretch, but Martel breaks free. Martel sends Moon into the corner, but is met with a knee. Moon leaps off the middle rope to hit a bulldog. Moon nails Martel with a spinning heel kick. Moon scoop slams Martel and hits a standing senton splash for a two count. Martel tries to send Moon to the floor, but Moon recvoers and tries to rollup Martel for a two count. Martel counters with a rollup and has a handful of tights, but the referee sees that and disqualifies Martel. (**. I’m enjoying Moon and I think it is because his style is drastically different than anyone else on the roster. Moon’s offense is quite impactful and fun to watch as it is not mat based or brawling oriented. The finish is lame because I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone get DQ’d for using tights for leverage.)

3.) The panel talks about the Survivor Series tag team match. Heenan doesn’t know how a man can be fluke out of the WWF World Championship and focus on a tag match. Heenan isn’t sure how Flair would know, but Perfect would know how to do it. McMahon doesn’t believe that Flair was truly sick. McMahon wants to know who is at fault, and Heenan puts the blame on Flair.

4.) Skinner won his enhancement match following a reverse DDT.

5.) The panel discusses the eventual showdown between Bossman and Nailz, but Duggan isn’t sure how much wrestling will be taking place. Perfect notes that Bossman can’t cheat now. Duggan says you’re supposed to punish the criminal and that’s what Bossman is going to do. Heenan claims that Nailz is an innocent man.

6.) Survivor Series Report with Mean Gene is up next. Gene runs down the card thus far for the event. Undertaker and Paul Bearer shared comments regarding the coffin match against Kamala at the event. Bearer promises Kamala will be put in the casket. Undertaker says Kamala has to run to the ring, but he’ll be pushed out in a coffin. Also, WWF Tag Team Champions Natural Disasters will team with the Bushwhackers to take on Money Inc. & Beverly Brothers in an elimination match. We hear from the Bushwhackers and Disasters. They can’t wait for Survivor Series because they are unpredictable. Luke says they are going to be a bush disaster.

7.) The panel talk about former WWF World Champion Ric Flair once again. McMahon thinks people would respect Flair more if Flair just said he was beaten by a better man. Heenan says he could beat up a homeless bum on the street, but it wouldn’t make him a better man. Heenan compares that to Flair being sick and believes anyone can beat a sick man. Heenan continues to claim it is a fluke.

Savage knee strikes Shango on the back to send Shango to the floor. Savage leaps off the top hitting a double axe handle. Savage scoop slams Shango and heads to the top rope. Savage hits a top rope elbow drop for the win. (*. Shango isn’t able to put together compelling offense when he needs to control the match for several moments. His offense is limited to chokes and elbow drops. Unable to provide entertainment in the ring leads to a limited lifespan. Savage getting a clean win is the right move. There’s no need to protect Shango at this point.)

9.) The panel discuss the Survivor Series and McMahon wonders why Jimmy Hart hasn’t teamed the Nasty Boys with Money Inc. at Survivor Series. McMahon thinks Hart needs to put a team as a number one contender and the other team will be upset. Heenan tries to make sense of the whole situation, but is rambling and makes no sense of the situation.

10.) Mean Gene is on the podium and describes the coffin match taking place at the Survivor Series. Gene introduces his guest for an interview, the Undertaker. Bearer makes his way out pushing a coffin and joins Gene on the podium. Bearer says Kamala is facing a very grave situation and he’ll be meeting a special casket shortly. Bearer promises it will be large enough to fit Kamala inside. Bearer brings Gene down to the coffin to ask him what his thoughts on a coffin are. Bearer opens the coffin and Gene decides to not look in the coffin. Undertaker sits up and startles Gene. Undertaker says Kamala’s fear of coffin does not go unwarranted. Taker promises that Kamala will be resting soon in a similar coffin. Taker will carry Kamala’s soul back to the dark side. Taker closes the coffin to end the segment.

Blake tags into the match and axe handles Owen over the back. Blake drives Owen down with a backbreaker, but misses an elbow drop. Beau prevents Owen from tagging out. Owen backslides Beau for a two count. Owen tries for an inside cradle managing a two count. Beau stomps Owen and locks in a bearhug. Beau keeps the bearhug on Owen in the middle of the ring, but doesn’t get a submission. Beau stops Owen with a strike coming off the ropes and Blake tags into the match. Blake hits a headbutt to the back of Owen and splashes onto Owen’s back a few times. Blake elbow drops Owen on the back several times for a two count. Blake locks in a bearhug, but Owen doesn’t give in. Owen manages a two count with a sunset flip. Owen delivers a double DDT. Koko waits on the apron for the tag and enters to clean house on the Beverly Brothers hitting dropkicks. The bell sounds randomly and apparently the time limit has expired. (*1/2. The finish is a bit bizarre as it is a random time limit considering the match didn’t go ten minutes. I like both teams and the action was beginning to pickup towards the end. Monsoon mentions it is a ten minute time limit, but the match didn’t go eight minutes.)

12.) The panel discuss the WWF World Championship and Mr. Perfect says it is time for plan C. Heenan notes that both plan A and B worked and now plan C has to work. Heenan says that Hart will not be champion by the time Thanksgiving comes around.

15.) The panel talks about Kamala not looking forward to a coffin match at Survivor Series. McMahon thinks Undertaker is looking forward to the opportunity to compete in his kind of match. Jameson arrives and asks if they know how he could get an autograph of the new WWF World Champion. Mr. Perfect gets up and threatens Jameson.

16.) The panel talk about WWF World Champion Bret Hart and McMahon considers it a breath of fresh air. Heenan says that Hart got lucky against Mr. Perfect, lost when sick to Mountie, and beat Piper at WrestleMania and lost to Bulldog at SummerSlam. Heenan says this proves that Hart can be beaten.

Final Thoughts:
Action wise it’s a bit lacking, but at least there was more star power used than most weeks. They spent a lot of time touching base on feuds, which was nice. I’d consider this an average week overall.
