- Chris Jericho has rumoredly requested a title match against Norio Honaga for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. (02/07)
- El Samurai suffered a minor foot injury during this tour, resulting on him being reportedly sidelined until roughly the end of May. Samurai joins several other NJPW stars currently out on medical. (02/07)
- Hiro Saito has decided to rejoin NJPW under a new contract, effective immediately. (02/12)
- Foreign star, Gary Albright, has decided to sign an exclusive contract with NJPW to start during this tour. Rumors suggest that the plan is to tag him up with Scott Norton. (02/14)
- Hiroshi Hase has requested a slight push up the cards, expressing more and more interest in a singles run. (02/15)
- Perry Saturn has reportedly made the move to Japan from Ohio, USA. That said, his partner, John Kronus, has not committed to a stay in Japan. It remains to be seen what happens for the pair in NJPW (02/15)
- Michinoku Pro Wrestling continues to grow in popularity around the country, now being considered a regional promotion.
