Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Moments ago, Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson have arrived to WWF New York. They yell at the security guy and get pissed off seeing Trish Stratus on a magazine cover claiming they should be.
2.) Guerrero gets a side headlock on Hotty, but misses a clothesline. Hotty nails Guerrero with a leaping forearm and decks Guerrero with a right hand to maintain the advantage in the corner. Hotty stomps Guerrero, but Guerrero stops Hotty with a tilt a whirl backbreaker. Guerrero chops and uppercuts Hotty followed by a dropkick to the back after a snapmare. Hotty misses a spear and hits the ring post. Guerrero chokes Hotty over the top rope and leaps off the top rope to drop Hotty throat first over the ropes for a two count. Guerrero stomps Hotty on the mat, but Hotty responds with right hands. They collide on stereo crossbody attempts. Hotty ducks a clothesline and forearms Guerrero followed by right hands. Hotty backdrops Guerrero coming off the ropes. Hotty misses a bulldog attempt and Guerrero connects with a back suplex. Guerrero misses a splash off the top rope. Hotty hits the WORM for the win. (*1/2. I wasn’t expecting the finish to be in such quick fashion. The count came across very slowly and Guerrero was made to look out kind of weak.)
3.) Backstage, Keibler and Wilson are hanging out and laughing about Jacqueline crying on Tough Enough.
4.) Credible and Funaki kickoff the tag match with Credible backing Funaki into a corner, but missing a strike. Funaki ducks a clothesline, but Credible connects with right hands. Taka nails Credible with a spinning heel kick followed by a double dropkick. Taka knocks Raven off the apron a few times. Taka works over Raven in the corner, but Raven responds with a strike and bails to the floor after a kick. Taka follows to pummel Raven, but Credible stops Taka with a superkick. Raven tries for a cover, but Taka kicks out at two. Raven pummels Taka with right hands on the mat and tags in Credible to keep control of the match. Credible chops Taka followed by stomps in the corner and yanks Taka out of the corner to hit a powerbomb. Credible misses a baseball slide and hits the ring post. Credible tags in Raven and Raven grabs Taka, but is met with a kick to the head. Funaki gets the hot tag and leaps in the ring cleaning house with right hands. Funaki sends Raven into Credible followed by a dropkick. Credible tries for a suplex, but Funaki counters with an inside cradle. Raven and Taka switch the covers and Funaki gets a two count. Funaki grabs Credible to put him in a chin lock. Taka nails Credible with a dropkick to the face. Raven spikes Funaki with the DDT and picks up the win. (*1/2. I didn’t care for much of this, which is a shame because I tend to enjoy Raven, Taka and Funaki. I’m fine with the heels winning as they need to have some kind of momentum.)
5.) Backstage, Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler are looking at lingerie they will likely be wearing. They tease not wearing lingerie at all.
6.) Albert and Morrus start brawling on the ramp where Albert sends Morrus into the ring steps and delivers a knee strike against the steps. Albert rolls Morrus into the ring, but Morrus delivers an elbow drop and several strikes in the corner. Albert fights back with right hands, but Morrus hooks Albert for a suplex. Morrus decks Albert over the back and tries for a suplex, but Albert counters with a suplex of his own. Albert tosses Morrus through the ropes to the floor. Albert misses a splash and hits the ring post. Morrus leaps off the apron to elbow drop Albert on the floor. Morrus tries for a cover, but Albert kicks out at two. Morrus eye rakes Albert, but Albert recovers and press slams Morrus. Albert comes off the ropes to splash Morrus for a two count. Morrus kicks Albert and misses a clothesline allowing Albert to hit a bicycle kick for a near fall. Albert splashes Morrus in the corner, but runs into a powerslam. Morrus climbs to the top rope missing the No Laughing Matter. Albert plants Morrus with the Baldo Bomb to win the match. (*1/2. A decent match but kind of one sided for the most part. Most of the guys in the Alliance are not being treated as actual threats to the WWF wrestlers.)
7.) Awesome kicks Holly in the midsection followed by a few strikes and a shoulder block. Holly ducks a clothesline to deliver a back suplex. Holly chops Awesome and they go to the floor where Awesome clotheslines Holly. Awesome sends Holly into the ring steps shoulder first. Awesome rolls Holly into the ring and climbs to the top rope hitting a flying clothesline. Awesome continues with a big splash for a near fall. Awesome strikes Holly into the corner and runs into a big boot. Holly tries for a suplex, but Awesome counters to hit a German suplex. Awesome heads to the top rope, but Holly crotches Awesome. Holly hooks Awesome and hits a suplex to the mat. Holly clotheslines Awesome a few times. Holly connects with a dropkick for a two count. Holly kicks Awesome between the legs while having Awesome over the top rope. Awesome plants Holly with a sit out powerbomb for a near fall. Holly seemed to whack the back of his head hard on the mat. Awesome climbs to the top leaping off and missing a splash. Holly plants Awesome with the Alabama Slam to win the match. (*1/2. Awesome is another guy that should be used in a much better manner than he’s getting presented in the WWF. I wouldn’t be surprised if Holly suffered a concussion with how hard he hit the back of his head late in the match.)
8.) Backstage, Torrie and Stacy check each other before heading out to the WWF New York stage.
9.) Coach and Al Snow are on the stage introducing Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson to join them. Keibler asks Coach if he really thought that they’d answer their stupid questions. Stacy says they aren’t worth being associated with the Alliance. Torrie thinks the fans are there to see them strip and not talk. They tease taking their clothes off, but Torrie says they are not going to strip for them because they have more class in their pinkie fingers than the fans whole body. Torrie calls them losers and they all smell. Jacqueline appears from behind and pulls down Stacy’s dress to reveal her underwear. Jacqueline ducks a clothesline by Wilson an rips off her shirt after a struggle causing both women to run backstage. The fans erupted for that.
Final Thoughts:
The closing segment with Torrie and Stacy was probably the best thing on the show and it was clear that they are both inexperienced in cutting solid heel promos especially Torrie. I’d say this was a disappointing episode of Heat.
