They rundown what we’ll see on the program.

Martel catches Brunzell coming off the ropes to deliver a backbreaker. Martel locks in the Boston Crab and wins the match cleanly by submission. (*1/2. A basic match, but they kept a good pace and there wasn’t a lull for the most part. I’m glad they are giving the heels some clean finishes over older names that aren’t a focus anymore.)
3.) Survivor Series Report with Mean Gene. Gene runs down the card. There aren’t any new developments from over the weekend.
4.) Footage of Marty Jannetty’s return on Superstars is shown. Jannetty attacked Shawn Michaels and accidentally hit Sherri with a mirror.
5.) The panel talk about Marty Jannetty’s return. Mr. Perfect believes that Jannetty hit Sherri on purpose. Heenan agrees that Jannetty did it on purpose. Of course, Duggan and Hillbilly are defending Jannetty. Heenan is disgusted by Jannetty’s actions. They talk about Shawn Michaels challenging for the title at Survivor Series. McMahon says there are reports that Flair has inner ear balance issues. Heenan seems concerned about that news.
6.) Sean Mooney is still on his honeymoon and attacks the cameraman for putting his wife in the closet.
7.) Kamala attacks Tatanka from behind. Kamala works over Tatanka with strikes against the ropes. Tatanka fights back with chops to stagger Kamala into the corner. Tatanka goes on the war dance. Tatanka overhand strikes Kamala several times. Kamala tosses Tatanka over the top to the floor. Paul Bearer has come down to ringside with a coffin. Kamala ends up seeing the coffin and sprints out of the ring to escape. Kimchee tries to get Kamala back into the ring. Kamala gets back in the ring and hides in the corner. Bearer opens the coffin and Undertaker sits up. Kamala runs through the crowd to escape. Kamala is counted out, as a result. (*. There’s not a whole lot to the match, which is to be expected. It’s mostly just a way to continue the angle of Kamala being afraid of coffins.)
8.) The panel talks to the new WWF Tag Team Champions Money Inc. and former champions Natural Disasters via satellite. Typhoon has no idea why the Headshrinkers were there. Jimmy Hart claims to not know why the Headshrinkers arrived. Quake claims that he was ready to beat DiBiase and they’d still be the champions. Quake complains about being double teamed and didn’t know where he was after hitting the railing. IRS reminds us that they were beaten up by the Nasty Boys before match. Quake confirms he didn’t know where he was. McMahon credits Quake for his fight despite the injuries. Quake says he held on for as long as he could. Quake will never turn his back on the new champs again and the Headshrinkers will not be there to screw them over. DiBiase says they chopped Quake down like he’s a tree. They beat Quake right in the middle of the ring. Quake promises it will be a different story when there aren’t any distractions. Quake believes they will be the champions once again. Quake promises that the next title defense for Money Inc. will be their last whether it’s the Natural Disasters or the Nasty Boys. Jimmy Hart believes the Nasty Boys should be suspended for touching him. DiBiase is pissed about the Nasty Boys trying to cost them a title opportunity. DiBiase promises that the Nasty Boys will pay the price for turning on them. Hart blames Jack Tunney for this nonsense. DiBiase says Hart made a reasonable decision and went with the money.
9.) A vignette promoting the return of Bam-Bam Bigelow is shown.
10.) Special Report with Lord Alfred Hayes is up next. Hayes focuses on the confrontation between Nailz and Undertaker from Superstars. They were wasn’t anything physical between the two.
11.) The panel talks about the coffin match between Kamala and the Undertaker. Heenan says Kamala doesn’t fear anyone and doesn’t believe Kamala will be put in the coffin. Duggan notes that Kamala is afraid of the coffin. Hillbilly asks why Kamala runs from the coffin. Heenan claims that Kamala doesn’t know the proper exit from the building. Moon strikes Repo in the corner several times. Repo grabs his hook and tries to hit Moon. The referee saw that and disqualifies Repo. After the match, Moon attacks Repo hitting a dropkick and Repo bails to the floor. (*. Repo is incredibly boring in the ring. Moon displays some athletic offense and he’s capable of a good match with a quality opponent.)
13.) Next week, WWF Tag Team Champions Money Inc. will defend the tag titles against High Energy. (That match will actually air on Superstars) Perfect doesn’t like that Money Inc. must defend already. McMahon announces an exclusive match where WWF World Champion Bret Hart defends against The Berzerker.
Final Thoughts:
An average episode at best this week for Primetime Wrestling. There wasn’t an entertaining exclusive match. They focused a lot on the tag title switch, which is fine as the segment was enjoyable. Next weeks episode seems to be a bit stronger with an exclusive World Championship match taking place.
Thanks for reading.
