MATCH #1: SCOTTY 2 HOTTY VS. SHAWN STASIAK
FINISH:
Hotty wins following a middle rope DDT.

Bob’s Take: Snow and Kelly just rip on Stasiak for being an idiot on commentary. Hotty head scissors Stasiak early on along with a clothesline over the top to the floor. Stasiak gets control with a flapjack and a leaping back elbow strike. Stasiak almost wins following a neckbreaker. Hotty battled back with a second rope missile dropkick and a superkick moments later. Stasiak cuts off Hotty with a clothesline and tries to do the WORM, but proceeds to do a face plant. Hotty hit the WORM and his middle rope DDT for the win. Stasiak looks like a goof despite his physical appearance. Hotty continues to be fun on these shows. It’s not too bad of action as Hotty continues to be enjoyable on these shows.
Match Rating: **

MATCH #2: HARDCORE HOLLY VS. TOMMY DREAMER
FINISH:
Holly counters a piledriver attempt by hitting the Alabama Slam for the win.

Bob’s Take: They slap each other, but Holly gets the better of that exchange and beats the crap out of Dreamer at the start of the bout. Holly suplexs Dreamer on the floor at one point. Dreamer gains control in the ring with a suplex and backbreaker. Dreamer misses a middle rope elbow drop leading to Holly coming back with clotheslines. Holly kicks Dreamer on the lower midsection and delivered a beautiful dropkick. The finish is nicely done and an effective way to end the match. Dreamer continues to be someone that I can’t take seriously. He’s one of the few guys at this point that feels like a guy in the crowd came into the ring to fight.
Match Rating: *

MATCH #3: HUGH MORRUS VS. PERRY SATURN
FINISH:
Saturn hits Morrus with a swinging fisherman suplex neckbreaker.

Bob’s Take: Morrus works over Saturn early on with strikes in the ropes, but Saturn stops the attack with a dropkick, slam and a springboard leg drop. Morrus responds with a clothesline to regain control. Morrus drives Saturn into the corner gut first in a powerslam position to gain control followed by a powerslam off the ropes. Saturn throws Morrus out of the corner and hits an overhead suplex. Saturn continues with overhead tosses. Morrus delivers a couple of splashes and a sit out powerbomb. Morrus misses the No Laughing Matter leading to the finish for Saturn. A decent little match for Metal standards. Saturn pulled off some fun offense and is a constant reminder of how good he can be in the ring.
Match Rating: *1/2

MAIN EVENT: ALBERT & WWF LIGHT WEIGHT & WCW CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION X-PAC VS. JUSTIN CREDIBLE & MIKE AWESOME
FINISH:
Albert pins Awesome following the Baldo Bomb.

Bob’s Take: Credible use to be part of X-Factor, but he’s now in the Alliance. It’s noted this is the first time Credible has fought X-Factor, but back in July he did lose to Albert on Heat. Credible works over Pac early on with a dropkick to control the bout. Pac spin kicks Credible to gain the advantage. Awesome and Albert tag into the match with the crowd cheering loudly for Albert’s involvement. They trade strikes with Awesome getting the better of the exchange in the corner. Awesome shows his agility with a top rope back elbow, but Albert delivered a bicycle kick. Awesome dives to the floor to take X-Factor out, which is always cool. Albert cleans house on Credible and Awesome after Credible superkicked Pac. Albert plants Awesome with the Baldo Bomb for the win. This is the rare time I’ve ever seen X-Factor get the win, but they are simply cheering Albert and not X-Pac by any means. I could see Albert getting some momentum after this kind of reaction and if it continues. Every time I see Awesome compete and not get a push in the WWF I get frustrated.
Match Rating: **

Final Thoughts:
An hour of mindless wrestling with nothing too exciting to go out of your way to see. I love these C-level shows to see these guys get a few minutes of wrestling that they otherwise would never get. This is a skippable show, though.
