Kahagas defeated Scoot Andrews in a First Round Match:
Scoot Andres comes out to a modified version of Ric Flair’s music, living up his “Black Nature Boy” nick name. Kahagas misses a kick early on, so Andrews asks the referee to check the boots of his opponent. Andrews with a guillotine leg drop on Kahagas who was dangling on the middle rope. Kahagas with a few chops, but Andrews comes back with a spinning heel kick. Andrews catches Kahagas in the corner and connects with a Alabama slam whiplash move. Kahagas comes back with a leaping reverse DDT, into a Stunner for the three count. *1/2
Joshua Masters defeated Lex Lovett in a First Round Match: Masters seems to be a version of Mideon. Masters says that a wrestler will win the World Title tonight. Lovett with a nice belly to belly suplex, and follows up with a heel kick sending Masters to the floor. Lovett with a big power slam on Masters. Masters with a few forearms to the throat. Lovett with a German suplex for a near fall. Masters with a low blow, and rolls Lovett up using the tights for the win. *
The crowd is rather dead. There is at least four guys in the front row trying to get something going.
Jerrelle Clark defeated Slim J in a First Round Match: Slim J is a white thug, Clark is a pure athlete. Both men trade a series of hip tosses. Both with leg trip ups. Well, these two guys are doing the same stuff. Both slap each other after getting in each other faces.Slim J leaps off the back of Clark and connects with a kick to the head of Clarke. Slim J with a brain buster , and a weak double stomp for a two count. Clark with a near fall with a small package school boy, and another pin for a two count. Slim J with a power bomb. Clark comes back with a sick power bomb into a pile driver. Clark misses a moonsault off the top, Slim J misses a 450 splash, Clark rolls Slim J up for the win. *
C.M. Punk defeated Vordell Walker in a First Round Match: Punk cuts a promo on the Florida crowd, saying that they are basically disgraceful. Punk says that he opens his arms to the misfits in the world. Punk says that he should be in the main event. Walker is really trying to get the few people in attendance pumped up. Walker with the offense early on with several arm drags and a dropkick. Walker stomps on the arm of Punk. On the floor now, they trade chops with Walker getting the advantage. Back in the ring, Walker connects with a back body drop. Punk rams Walker head first into the middle turnbuckle. Joshua Masters has came down to the ring, obviously before he was speaking of Punk. Punk with a big clothesline on Walker. Punk with a dropkick to the back of Walker’s head. Punk argues with the referee, who shoves Punk down. Punk with a sleeper hold on Walker. Walker with a jaw breaker to break the sleeper hold. Punk with several forearms in the corner.
Walker with a nice German suplex on Punk. Walker with a spinning kick. Walker with a belly to belly suplex, and a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Two mule kicks by Punk, Walker with a swinging slam, Masters gets on the apron to distract the referee. This allows Punk to roll Walker up for a two count. Walker goes to vertical suplex Punk off the apron into the ring, Masters trips Walker up and holds his leg down for Punk to pick up the three count! **
Punk grabs the microphone and says that he feels sorry for Walker. Punk says Masters is the first member of the “New Dawn”. Punk is leading the “New Revolution”.
Rainman defeated Jason Cross in a First Round Match: Both men are from NWA Wildside. Which has groomed a good amount of talent. Early on both men slap each other, with neither man getting a clear advantage. After being embarrassed a few times, Rainman with several right forearms and arm drags. A sit down power slam by Rainman for a two count. Rainman misses a splash in the corner. Cross with a dropkick to the back of Rainman’s head. Cross with a swinging neck breaker for a near fall. Moments later, Cross with a heel kick but only gets two count. Rainman with a few elbow, but Cross connects with a dropkick for a near fall. Cross with a nice standing shooting star press for another two count. Rainman with a release belly to back suplex and both men are down. Rainman with a back drop and a dropkick. Cross comes back with a rake to the eyes. Rainman with a leapfrog, but grabs Cross in mid air and drops Cross down with a modified X-Factor. Cross with a brain buster for a two count. Tornado neck breaker by Cross off the top for another two count. Weak knee by Rainman, and connects with a sit down side slam for the three count. *1/2
Austin Aries defeated Roderick Strong in a First Round Match: Aries grabs the microphone and rips the crowd for their not being a lot of people in the crowd. Aries says that he will make Roderick Strong tap out like a little girl tonight. Strong comes out and grabs a microphone. Strong says that tonight he will prove to Aries why Florida is highly regarded. Aries with a cheap shot early on in the corner, not giving a clean break. Strong does the same moments later. Strong uses his legs to springboard Aries in the air, a couple of arm drags, and Strong has a head scissors on Aries. Aries attempts to get out a few times, Strong drops Aries on his head a few times, Aries with a dropkick to break the hold. Strong with a butterfly suplex, and a top rope elbow drop for a near fall. Aries comes back with a side slam. Aries with a few rights. Strong with head butts. Aries with a knee breaker, and connects with a back suplex for a two count. Aries with a submission hold, Strong doesn’t give up. Strong locks in a Boston Crab. Aries gets to the ropes. Aries charges towards Strong who connects with a nice power slam for a two count. Several shots to the lower back, and forearm shots by Aries. Strong comes back with a spinning heel kick. That move has been showcased a lot during this event. Aries with a neck breaker, Aries goes up and connects with a head butt to the lower back of Strong. Aries with the Rings of Saturn submission, Strong nearly wins with a roll through. Aries continues to work on the back of Strong with a knee, and chin lock submission. STO by Aries, followed by a elbow to the back. Strong comes back with a release German suplex. Aries with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Strong catches Aries with a series of back breakers. Strong proceeds to throw Aries back first into the middle turnbuckle. Strong with a pump handle slam. Aries with a fisherman suplex neck breaker for a near fall. Strong comes back with a half nelson back breaker for a near fall. Aries with a fish hook submission, Strong submits. **1/2
Justin Credible defeated Ralph Mosca in a First Round Match: Before the match, Credible grabs the microphone. Credible cuts a baby face promo. Mosca attacks Credible before the bell with several right hands. Credible goes groin first into the ring post, twice. Mosca sends Credible into the guard railing, knocking the railing over. Credible sent into the crowd. Mosca with a trash can shot, and sends Credible into the empty seats. They battle up the bleachers, where no one is. Credible is sent down the seats. Credible with a few rights, but Mosca connects with a clothesline. Mosca with a sit down vertical suplex for a two count. Mosca comes off the top rope looking for a double axe handle, Credible connects with the super kick for the win. *1/2
Homicide defeated AJ Styles by DQ in a First Round Match: Homicide with a rather quick promo saying “Your looking at the new World Heavyweight Champion of FIP”. Styles yanks Homicide’s winter hat off, and wears it himself. Early on, both men trade mat wrestling holds before Homicide rolls to the floor. Styles fights out of a hammerlock into a suplex, with the hammerlock still intact for a near fall. Moments later, Styles sends Homicide off the middle rope, and connects with a top rope cross body for a near fall. Homicide soon comes back with a scoop slam, and a interesting submission hold, that has been done several times during this event. Homicide with a DDT, but hangs on to the head of Styles trying for a submission. Styles is sent to the floor. Homicide with a double axe handle off the apron. Styles with a standing kick to the head of Homicide. Homicide is sent to the floor, Styles comes out but Homicide drops Styles throat first onto the guard railing. Homicide with a back breaker for a two count. Homicide with a flying head butt off the top for another two count. Homicide takes a while to miss a flying head butt, considering he was taunting the crowd. Styles comes back with right hands and takes Homicide down with a clothesline. Styles comes back with a power slam for a near fall. Styles catches Homicide off the ropes and connects with a Canatonic into a back breaker for a near fall. Homicide comes back with a double under hook sit down power bomb. Homicide attempts to reverse a vertical suplex, but Styles connects with a neck breaker. Styles with a moonsault off the middle turnbuckle, flips over Homicide and connects with a reverse DDT for a near fall. Styles signals for the end, Homicide blocks the Styles Clash, Homicide with a pile driver for a two count. Styles sends Homicide into the referee, Styles with a spinning heel kick. No referee no count. CM Punk with a steel chair, whacks both men, Styles grabs the chair, referee gets up and sees Style’s with the chair. Styles is DQ’d. **
After the match, Homicide with a tope on Masters, Punk ran away. Homicide and Styles attack Masters, Styles with the Styles Clash
My Opinion: CM Punk is clearly the top heel in FIP, which is a great thing. Aries/Strong was the best match on the show.
Their was really nobody in the crowd, which kills the event.
Announcers are not that good either. A very average show.
