10/2/1993
From: Grand Rapids, MI

2.)Ludvig Borga defeated Sonny Rogers
3.)IRS defeated Gary Jackson
4.)Bam-Bam Bigelow defeated Rod Bell
5.)Marty Jannetty defeated Steve Moore
6.)The Heavenly Bodies defeated Reno Riggins & John Paul

Angle Developments/Notes:
1. Footage from Wrestling Challenge where Doink the Clown poked fun at Jerry Lawler on Kings Court. Doink ordered a meal to make fun of Lawler and his Burger King nickname given to him recently. Doink ended up pouring water over Lawler!

2. Gorilla Monsoon hosts the WWF Update segment this week. The topic of conversation is the announcement that WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels has been suspended and stripped for the championship! Michaels failed to appear for several title defenses and thus was stripped and suspended. Now, on RAW there will be a twenty man battle royal and the final two will compete in a singles match to determine a new champion!

3. After Bam-Bam Bigelow’s victory he was cut off by Doink on the aisle way. Doink had two buckets and acted like he was going to toss it on Bigelow. Bigelow and Luna walk by but Doink tosses confetti on Bigelow! Bigelow tells Doink if he does that again he will rip his head off. Luna gets in Doink’s face and has water dumped over her head! Bigelow heads to the ring and chases after Doink, who bails to the floor. Bigelow turns around and is tripped by Doink, who runs around the ring again. Bigelow tries to get Doink from under the ring but notices a jobber trying to help Luna. So, Bigelow attacks the jobber in the ring. Doink is on the aisle way and has set up a wire. Doink hits Bigelow with a broom and taunts Bigelow on the floor. Bigelow goes after Doink but trips over the wire and is made to look like a fool.

4. By the way, Steve Moore is actually Al Snow. Just thought I’d point that tidbit out.

Final Thoughts:
It’s too bad that Michaels got suspended because that stops the 1-2-3 Kid’s push towards the championship. I’d imagine those two would have met at the Royal Rumble. Bigelow looked really foolish on this episode. He looked like a dominate force but is now made out to look foolish as he gets tricked by a clown. That wasn’t a good segment. They could have spaced those pranks out several weeks, but that’s just me. It as an average episode here, folks.

Thanks for reading.
