WWE Survivor Series 2012 Predictions!
World Wrestling Entertainment returns to pay per view tonight with the Survivor Series. Here is the card along with my predictions for the event.
YouTube Pre-show:
3MB vs. Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel
I’m not a fan of 3MB. It’s just an odd trio of guys and I don’t find it entertaining. I’ve been given zero reason to care about Drew, Heath and Jinder. So, I’m going to hope that the team of Kidd and Gabriel get the win and get a push in the tag division.
For the WWE Divas Championship:
[champion] Eve defends against Kaitlyn
Another feud I don’t care about. The last thing I noticed about this is that the matches for the Divas lasted all of a minute of television. Which, is the usual time. Eve retains in a short match, folks.
For the WWE United States Championship:
[champion] Antonio Cesaro vs. R-Truth
The reason behind these two feuding is because Cesaro is foreign and hold the United States Championship and Truth is American. That’s what I gathered from RAW, anyway. Cesaro is far too good to lose here and the win over Truth will be probably the biggest win of Cesaro reign that I can think of off the top of my head. Cesaro retain the gold and Jimmy will be upset.
Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match:
Team Foley vs. Team Ziggler
It’s being rumored that Randy Orton is going to be turning heel at this show. This should be a solid match, but who will win? Well, in a perfect booking world you’d have Ziggler be the sole survivor since he has the Money In The Bank. Realistically, we could see Orton and Kingston be the survivors. Who knows, I don’t! I’m going to guess that Ziggler and Barrett will be the sole survivors after Orton turns heel on Miz. I’m probably wrong, though.
For the WWE World Heavyweight Championship:
[champion] Big Show defends against Sheamus
The reign for Big Show doesn’t seem to be something that will last all that long. Sheamus is the top babyface on Smackdown and really, there aren’t many feuds that Show could get into that would be exciting or interesting. I’ve been saying it for months, but we are going to get Sheamus/Orton at Mania. At least, we should. Sheamus regains the gold.
For the WWE Championship:
[champion] CM Punk vs. John Cena vs. Ryback
This pay per view feels rather predictable and that probably means that I’m wrong on just about all of my predictions. If I’m wrong on this one, then I don’t know what the WWE is thinking. Ryback will not eat the pin here. It wouldn’t make sense for that to happen. So, that means for the 1000th time this year, Punk pins Cena to retain the championship. That’s my guess.
Those are my predictions for the event. Feel free to share your own below.
