Michael Cole and The Miz welcome us to WWE Main Event live from Albany, New York.

Randy Orton’s music hit and he comes out to the ring. Wade Barrett comes out with a microphone, gloating about attending the premiere of Dead Man Down. They show the footage of the premier of Dead Man Down.

Main Event:

“The Viper” Randy Orton v. Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett

Orton immediately interrupts Barrett attacking him and sending him into the ring. The bell rings and Wade goes after Randy, however, Orton takes advantage of Barrett with the Garvin Stomps. Orton stomps Barrett in the gut, and follows up with a knee to the face, and a 2 count pin. Barrett targets Orton’s arm, following up with some snap jabs, but Orton counters, and sends Barrett flying out of the ring.

*commercial break* Dead Man Down Trailer is airing on the WWE Active App.

Barrett takes control of Orton after countering with a kick to the face. Barrett with a neckbreaker, followed up with a 2 count pin attempt. Barrett tries to slam Orton, but Orton hits a back suplex, buying some time. Orton follows up with a Mark Jindrak-like drop kick. Orton pins Barrett, however, Barrett kicks out. Orton, frustrated, strikes Barrett in the corner, following up with a suplex pin, however, Barrett kicks out. Barrett rolls out of the ring, buying some time, however, it was a trap, as Orton was drawn out and sent into the steel steps, Orton goes for the Rope Hung DDT, but Orton gets sent over the top, as Wade hits a Savate Kick to Orton’s gut.

*commercial break*

Wade Barrett is attacking Orton in an MMA-style mount guard, striking from up top. Orton gets sent through the ropes, as Barrett kicks a tied-up Orton in the ropes. Barrett goes for the pin, and Orton manages to kick out. Orton rolls outside, Wade follows, and Orton sends him into the barricade. Orton strikes Barrett a few times, and attempts to send Wade to the steel steps, but Orton gets countered, and gets sent into the steps himself. Wade rolls Orton into the ring, and goes up top, but spends a little too much time, and gets caught with a superplex! Orton crawls to the cover, but Barrett gets the shoulder up. Orton quickly gets the momentum on his side, and despite the missed powerslam, Orton hits the backbreaker on Barrett and coils up for the RKO. Barrett rolls out the ring, and Barrett hangs Orton up top. Barrett rolls in, and drops Orton with a Big Boot to the face. Wade loads up the elbow, but Orton ducks the elbow, hits the powerslam and the match ends after a beautiful RKO.

Winner: Randy Orton
Final Move: RKO

“The Mustachioed Dashing One” Cody Rhodes v. “The Woo Woo Woo Kid” Zack Ryder

Zack Ryder quickly takes advantage, pinning Cody within the first minute after a flapjack. Cody kicks out at one, and rolls out of the ring. Ryder chases Cody, however Cody takes advantage and pins Ryder for a 2 count. Cody holds Ryder in a submission, and Ryder manages to get out. Ryder sets up Cody for the Broski Boot, however Rhodes ducks it, hits the Beautiful Disaster followed up by Cross Rhodes for the win.

Winner: Cody Rhodes
Final Move: Cross Rhodes

Sin Cara v. United States Champion “The Swiss Superman” Antonio Cesaro

Sin Cara gets quickly taken advantage of by Antonio Cesaro. Quick cover, and Sin Cara bridges out of the cover. Cesaro ducks out of the ring, and Cara hits him with a Hurricanrana on the outside. Sin Cara attempts a roll up pin, however, Cesaro picks him up easily and throws him like a rag doll. Cesaro pins him, and Sin Cara kicks out at 1. Cesaro continues to maintain his pressure on Sin Cara, until Sin Cara drops him with a headscissors. Cara follows up with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb, and Cesaro kicks out. Cesaro rolls out of the ring, Sin Cara goes up for the plancha, but Cesaro caught him with Swiss Death. Cesaro goes up top, takes too long and gets caught with a kick to the head. Sin Cara goes up to the top and goes for a hurricanrana, however Cesaro tries for a powerbomb attempt, but gets caught with a top rope Hurricanrana, and gets pinned!

Winner: Sin Cara
Final Move: Top Rope Hurricanrana
