3.)Jim Neidhart defeated Furnas Harriston
4.)the Smoking Gunns defeated Two Unkowns
5.)Bam-Bam Bigelow defeated Ben Jordan
6.)Lex Luger defeated Barry Hardy
Angle Developments/Notes:
1. The tag match starts off with Kid and Pritchard opening up the bout. Kid gets the early momentum with a dropkick and a double backdrop with Aldo. Del Ray gets the upper hand on Aldo with a back elbow in the corner. That doesn’t last long as Aldo hit a cross body off the middle rope for a near fall. Del Ray runs into a double dropkick from the babydaces as well. Pritchard hits Aldo with a bulldog to get the control for his team. Pritchard gets a near fall after a gut wrench sit down powerbomb. Kid gets the tag but the referee was distracted. The Heavenly Bodies hit a double team leg drop on Montoya for a near fall. Kid gets the hot tag and cleans house with several kicks. Cornette knocks Kid off the top rope and Pritchard gets the win. This doesn’t stand as a second referee comes out to snitch on Cornette. So, the match is restarted. Ten seconds later, Kid rolls Pritchard up and wins the match. (**. A decent little match. The finish after the restart was anti-climatic.)
Final Thoughts:
An uneventful show this week. I was surprised there wasn’t a major talk segment like there is most weeks. Well, this gets a thumbs down from me.
Thanks for reading.
