Match 1: Blitzkrieg v. Dean Malenko
They are going back and forth, exchanging holds and moves. Dean suplexes him and gets two. Dean keeps him grounded for a minute, and pulls him up to work him over some more. He gives him a nice gutbuster and gets two, as Blitz got his feet on the ropes. Malenko knocks him to the floor and heads after him but is spiked on the cement, and Blitz rolls him back into the ring getting two. Blitz goes up but is caught and Malenko back suplexes him from the top rope. After about 30 seconds the Cloverleaf finishes him off.
**1/2 Solid start.
Match 2: Evan Karagias v. Disco Inferno (c) for WCW Cruiserweight Title
Evan knocks him around and knocks him to the floor. Back in the ring Disco takes him down and has the wrist. The fight spills to the floor and Evan is thrust into the railing and then the steel steps. Back in the ring Disco suplexes him and then goes for another one and connects. Evan fires back and sends Disco reeling before running him over with a running elbow. He slams him and heads to the apron where he springs into him getting two. Disco fights back and finishes him off.
**1/2 Good back and forth match.
Match 3: Chris Adams v. Brad Armstrong
The first minute has been back and forth, and Adams is pushed into the ropes and the ref finally forces the break. Adams knocks him to the floor and goes after him and rams his head into the railing. Brad is rolled back in and Adams goes up top and hits the flying clothesline getting two. Adams slams him and goes up top missing the splash. Now BA takes charge. Adams fights back but is finished….

Match 4: Brian Knobs v. Chris Benoit (c) for WCW TV Title
They lock up and Benoit gets the upperhand so Knobs retreats to the floor. He takes his time getting back in. Once he does he tears into Benoit who slumps in the corner under the onslaught. Benoit fights back and rocks Knobs with a series of blows and one punch drops him to the floor. Benoit slides out and is run right into the railing. The fight continues down there and Knobs is run into the railing. He is tossed into the crowd and they fight up the steps with Benoit hammering him. Knobs fires back and….
Commercial.
They are still battling on the arena stairs and finally Benoit knocks him down them and tosses him back over the railing. Knobs tries to fight back but is thrown into the steps. Benoit gets his head smashed into the steps and back in the ring Knobs continues to hammer him. He gets two and keeps after him with a slam and elbow and then legdrop. Knobs slams him again and says it is over. Knobs whips him into the corner and squashes him, Benoit drops in a heap. Benoit comes back with a German suplex. The ref is out and Jimmy Hart gets in but nails Knobs with the megaphone and gets decked by Benoit. Benoit goes up top and drops the headbutt on Knobs and gets the win.
***1/2 Wow, I really loved this. Just a straight on brawl for ten plus minutes.
Match 5: Silver King v. Lash Leroux
They have been going back and forth. Lash is taken down and put in a chinlock. Lash is trying to fight back but cannot and is knocked to the floor and over the railing. Back in the ring King gets two after a moonsault. He goes for a powerbomb but Lash wriggles free and plants him gets the win.
** Okay.
Match 6: MVP v. Maestro
Some guy wearing facepaint and a baseball uniform. Fuck me. Maestro gets destroyed.

Match 7: Disorderly Conduct v. Kidman and Rey
This has been a fairly long back and forth match, even a commercial. DO has gotten in some quality offense. Mike misses a splash from the top and now all four are in with the faces cleaning house. One DO member is ousted. Rough Rider from Rey and he is launched into him and the Frankensteiner finishes him off.
**1/2 Not too bad.
Tenay is with Bret Hart in a recorded interview. He is talking about the black spot in his heart and wanted to get over it as it happened in KC. He knew that Benoit was the only guy he could wrestle and discusses Harley Race too. He knows that by getting passed Benoit he can take on anyone and we will see a different Bret Hart.
Match 8: Stevie Ray v. Sid Vicious
Sid is overpowering Ray as they fight out on the floor. Ray fights back with some clubbing blows and bodyslams Sid and finally rolls him into the ring. Here comes Rick Steiner (Charles Robinson is the ref). Ray is distracted a big boot knocks him off the apron where Rick is waiting for him and he beats on him as Sid distracts the ref. Ray is rolled back in the ring and covered by Sid but he kicks out. Sid keeps after him and snaps him over applying a chinlock. Ray powers out but is nailed and Sid goes for the powerbomb but he is backdropped. Ray hammers him, Charles ties his shoe and Rick comes in and hits his bulldog and it is academic from here on out. Powerbomb.
**1/2 Not bad actually.
*** Solid edition of Thunder. Great first half and it went downhill for a bit but picked up some momentum. Nice long matches with a bit of angle advancement.
