Angle Developments/Notes:
1. Hulk Hogan joined Savage for his match this week to a big ovation from the crowd. After just two minutes of action, Savage was able to get the easy win after a top rope elbow drop. Hogan got involved to prevent the second Conquistador from attacking Savage on the pin attempt.

2. Rude has Jake Roberts wife face spray painted on his tights. Rude cut a pre-tape promo saying he is ravishing.

3. The Rougeau Brothers cut a promo during the British Bulldogs match. They say everyone is talking about the tag match at SummerSlam. They haven’t been beaten in 90-days and they will go another 90-days without a loss.

4. Ken Patera cut a promo during the Bad News Brown squash match. Patera says that Brown will be slammed at SummerSlam ’88. Patera is quite bad at promos.

5. Craig DeGeorge conducted an interview with the WWF World Tag Team Champions Demolition and Mr. Fuji. Jimmy Hart is with the champs as well. Hart says that he is the man who brought the Hart Foundation to the top with his brilliance. Hart recalls being chased to the backstage area and being laughed at by them. Hart reveals that he will be in the corner of Demolition at SummerSlam! Smash says they have beaten up every opponent in a bad way and they will kick their teeth in. Ax chimes in and calls the challengers bums and low lifes. Ax promises Jimmy Hart they both bums will be sent to the hospital.

6. Don Muraco cuts a promo during Dino Bravo’s match and says that he will be at SummerSlam to slam all over Bravo.

7. Slick cuts a promo during the Powers of Pain match saying that Nikolai and Boris are proud of Russia while Powers of Pain are from parts unknown meaning they are embarrassed.

Final Thoughts:
An enjoyable week for Superstars, in my opinion. We got a bunch of matches and several feuds were highlighted during the show. I can’t complain with the episode one bit. Good work leading into SummerSlam.

Thanks for reading.
