Angle Developments/Notes:
1. Big Bossman cuts a promo during Koko’s match. Bossman is going to show Koko what hard time is all about at SummerSlam ’88.

2. Jake Roberts cut a promo during Hercules match about SummerSlam. Roberts says that Hercules has no guts.

3. Jimmy Hart cut a promo during the Hart Foundation match that they will not win the tag titles against Demolition. After the match, Jimmy cuts another promo but runs to the back after being chased.

4. Craig DeGeorge conducted an interview with WWF World Champion Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan regarding the main event at SummerSlam ’88. They come out to Hogan’s theme music. Hogan says the world has gone crazy ever since they have come together. Hulk has a whole generation of Hulksters following him and says they will win at SummerSlam. Hogan believes they will live forever as the Mega Powers. Savage says that Hogan is right and understands that people don’t deliver once they are already paid off. That is in reference to Jesse Ventura being given money by DiBiase on the Brother Love Show on Challenge. Hogan says they will need to use their secret weapon at SummerSlam. They are talking about Elizabeth in her bikini.

5. Ron Bass is one pissed off cowboy. Bass promises he will get the last laugh on Beefcake during a pre-tape promo. Bass comes out during Beefcake’s match and attacks him. Bass sends the referee out to the floor and chokes Beefcake with his whip. Bass uses his spur on Beefcake and that busts Beefcake wide open! A big censored red X appears on the screen to censor the blood.

Final Thoughts:
A good show as we head into SummerSlam. The buildup has been done well and the angle involving Bass and Beefcake was an intense way to end the program. Nothing wrong with the episode this week.
