Matches:
1.) Tim Horner defeated Mike Samson
2.) The Heavenly Bodies defeated Danny Davis & Tommy Angel
3.) Rock N’ Roll Express defeated Buddy Landel & Paul Lee
4.) Brian Lee defeated Robbie Eagle
5.) Ron Garvin defeated Paul Orndorff by disqualification

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Bob Caudle interviewed Tim Horner after his match. Horner wants a shot at the SMW Heavyweight Championship but can’t get ahold of Dirty White Boy as the champion doesn’t have a phone. Horner thinks he can represent the people of Smoky Mountain Wrestling very well. Bob Armstrong comes over and shows us a wanted poster. The poster says that somebody has issued a bounty on Brian Lee. That brings out Brian Lee who says that ten thousand dollars is a lot of money and now he has to worry about being attacked for a large sum of money along with getting the title back from Dirty White Boy.

2.) Buddy Landel and Paul Lee is with Bob Caudle for an interview. Landel says that he is going to take Paul Lee under his wing. Landel is going to put Paul Lee’s skill to use as they take on the Rock N’ Roll Express.

3.) Down & Dirty this week has the SMW Heavyweight Champion Dirty White Boy and Ron Wright as his special guests. Wright says that he had to leave his hospital bed to make surethat Dirty White Boy wasn’t screwed out of the championship. Wright lets us know that he has stronger heart pills and will soon have his hip surgery. White Boy again lets us know that he will defend the championship against anyone. Dutch Mantel asks about Tim Horner getting a title shot. White Boy says that Horner isn’t in the top level and hasn’t proven anything to him to earn a title shot.

4.) After Brian Lee’s victory the mystery man from Fire on the Mountain enters the ring and attacks Lee again. The mystery man delivers a leg drop and elbow drop followed by a big splash to leave the former champion laying. The mystery man is the Mongolian Mauler, as I noted in the Fire on the Mountain review.

5.) Garvin backs Orndorff against the ropes and Orndorff complains of a hair pull but the referee isn’t listening to him. Garvin controls Orndorff with a headlock until Paul backs Garvin into the corner and delivers a cheap shot to get control of the contest. Orndorff delivers a forearm drop and follows up with a strike to back Garvin into the corner. Orndorff stomps away on Garvin a few times and backs Garvin into the corner. Garvin decks Paul with a right hand and rams Mr. Wonderful head first into the top turnbuckle several times. Garvin gets a rollup on Orndorff for a near fall. They collide heads and both drop to the canvas. Garvin attempts a piledriver, which is banned, but Orndorff counters with a backdrop and blocks a sunset flip with a left hand. Garvin nearly wins with a rollup but gets dropped by Orndorff.

Orndorff attempts a piledriver but Garvin is holding onto the ropes in the corner. Orndorff beats on Garvin to pull him out but Garvin backdrops Orndorff into the corner! Garvin fights back with a few head butts and locks in a sleeper hold. Garvin attempts to cover Orndorff but only manages to get a near fall. Ron takes Orndorff down with a backslide but only gets a near fall. Orndorff stops Garvin with an eye rake but misses a clothesline and dropped by a right hand. Garvin is playing to the fans signaling for a piledriver. The referee is asking for Garvin to not do the move and pulls Orndorff down as Garvin nearly had the move completely hooked in. Garvin delivers the Garvin Stomp. Garvin gets a near fall following a splash. Orndorff low blows Garvin with a head butt to avoid a piledriver. Orndorff rams his knee into Garvin’s head to maintain control of the contest. Orndorff delvers a back breaker for a two count. Orndorff rams Garvin head first into the corner and hits a running knee strike. Orndorff heads to the top rope and knocks Garvin down with an axe handle. Orndorff attempts the piledriver but the referee prevents that from happening, twice. Orndorff shoves the referee down and yells at him. Garvin rolls Orndorff up but the referee calls for bell making it a disqualification giving Garvin the victory. After the match, Orndorff has a steel chair and acts like he is going to hit the referee. (**. Not a bad match as the fans were really into it and the action kept my interest. I can’t believe I’m saying that about a Ron Garvin match. This is one of the biggest main events for SMW TV thus far.)

6.) Bob Caudle is with Ron Garvin to end the program with a promo. Garvin says that his issues with Orndorff are getting out of hand. He was almost retired from wrestling but he came back to help Brian Lee. It was supposed to be a one night thing. He is going to take Paul Orndorff out once and for all!

Final Thoughts:
Another entertaining all around episode provided by SMW. The feuds moving forward look to be Horner/White Boy which could be a decent match though I’m not overly interested in Horner. I was surprised that the main event was as decent as it was. The Mongolian Mauler is a ridiculous wrestler and an odd character. The crowd in North Carolina has been making quite a bit of noise, as well.
