4.) SMW Tag Team Champions The Heavenly Bodies fought The Stud Stable to a double disqualification

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Jim Cornette and SMW Beat the Champ Television Champion Bobby Eaton are interviewed. Eaton insults someone in the fan begging them to brush their two teeth. Cornette says that everything is under control with the Heavenly Bodies. We see more comments from Bob Armstrong. Armstrong has come up with some information. He reveals that Bobby Eaton is still under contract with WCW. Bob says that Eaton doesn’t have a contract with SMW. So, when Eaton loses the Beat the Champ TV Championship he will be gone from the company. Cornette says that Armstrong will do anything to get under the Heavenly Bodies skin. Cornette says there is no way to force Eaton out of the company. Jim knows that Eaton has gotten a release from his WCW contract. Cornette says that Eaton isn’t going back to WCW.

2.) Kevin Sullivan is interviewed after he destroyed a jobber. The Tazmaniac is also with him for the interview who is hitting his head against a metal case. Sullivan leaves to go back to the ring and attacks the jobber on a stretcher. He also beats on a few security guys.

3.) Down & Dirty this week is with the Nightstalker backstage. Nightstalker has a match coming up against Kevin Sullivan. Nightstalker says that Sullivan can live and die by the spike. Nightstalker did everything that Sullivan asked for him to do since day one. When he was slapped he saw the light and knows where he is going now. Nightstalker was taught everything that Sullivan knows. He is hungry and he will be fed.

4.) Dirty White Boy chokes his opponent over the top rope with a chain while the referee was distracted by Ron Wright to end the segment.

5.) Rock N’ Roll Express are interviewed about the Heavenly Bodies. Ricky Morton is sick and tired of Jim Cornette saying he is going to get rid of them. Morton is confident that they will take the tag titles away from the Heavenly Bodies. Cornette and Tom Pritchard have a going away present for the Rock N’ Roll Express. They go over there to see the present while Pritchard has powder in their eyes! Gibson is attacked by Cornette and Morto is beaten down as well. Cornette opens his box as Morton is on the floor. Cornette pours honey onto Morton and tosses feathers on Morton to embarrass him! Brian Lee and Tracy Smothers run down to make the save but it is a little too late.

6.) Jim Cornette, Bobby Eaton and the Heavenly Bodies are interviewed regarding what they just did. Cornette is full of joy and makes various duck jokes. Cornette says they did what they said they were going to do by embarrassing the Express to the point they will never wrestle in SMW again. If they have to use some old medicine then they will use just that to get the Express out of the SMW. He has some more tricks up his sleeve to takeover Smoky Mountain Wrestling. The Stud Stable comes over and challenges the Heavenly Bodies to a match for right now, which is accepted.

7.) All four men starting battling in the ring as the referee calls for the bell to start the match. Fuller and Pritchard start off in the ring with Fuller hitting a knee lift to get the upper hand. All four men are in the ring again to continue brawling. Lane pokes Fuller from the apron and the Bodies have the cheap advantage working over Fuller. Fuller is worked over in the corner by the Bodies some more as Golden distracts the referee. Fuller blocks a backdrop attempt from Lane with a big boot and takes Pritchard over with a vertical suplex. Lane and Golden get tags with Golden cleaning house with right hands. Bobby Eaton runs down to ringside and pulls Fuller out for the interference and Dutch Mantel comes out to brawl to cause a double disqualification. This was hardly a match to even give a rating to it.

8.) Rock N’ Roll Express are interviewed to end the show. Morton is still covered in feathers. Morton says this isn’t funny but rather a sticky situation he is currently in. Morton promises that either the Express of the Heavenly Bodies will be leaving SMW and he knows it won’t be them. You can hear a few people laughing at Morton. Morton is going to kick Cornette’s ass and send him packing!

Final Thoughts:
The Heavenly Bodies/Rock N’ Roll Express feud continues to find new layers to their feud to keep it interesting just when it starts to feel a little played out. I have to give credit to Cornette for being able to find ways to make it entertaining and interesting. Yet another main event that wasn’t all that great. I can see Nightstalker being a viable baby face if he sticks around. I’d say it was an average episode of television for SMW this week.

Thanks for reading.
