Angle Developments/Notes:
1. Mean Gene interviews Brian Pillman this week. Gene mentions the recent split of the Hollywood Blonds. Pillman is blaming Col. Robert Parker and his greed for Steve Austin turning on him last year. Pillman says that Parker reminds him of a chicken! There is no honor in disgrace, according to Flyin’ Brian.

2. Footage from WCW Main Event is shown where Diamond Dallas Page has had a fish bowl of names. He picks a name and throws it down because they aren’t good enough. Apparently, there weren’t names on the pieces of paper. There is one man who steps up and that’s Tom Zenk! DDP confronted Zenk saying Zenk didn’t even deserve to be considered as a top star in WCW. He would put his name in the fish bowl challenging DDP to accept it.

3. Footage from WCW Saturday Night where Ice Train abandoned Ron Simmons to check on Missy Hyatt and the Nasty Boys were able to beat Simmons. This didn’t sit well with Simmons at all. Train has been having a hard time with training. Simmons wanted Train to refuse a match with him. Ron punches Train when Train said he has to beat him, so their friendship is no longer.

4. Mean Gene conducted an interview with Ricky Steamboat. Steamboat talks about being in some of the greatest matches in WCW. Dragon says people are asking if he still has the heart or desire. Steamboat reminds us that we are in 1990’s and that he still has the heart to compete. His goal is to become the WCW World Champion once again.

5. Mean Gene talks to WCW World Champion Ric Flair on the big screen. Flair hypes up the cage match at Superbrawl. Flair says that everyone knows that this is not about being great but rather the best in the world. This is all about being the WCW World Champion. Two can’t be the champion but one can be. Flair has paid the price to be the champion. Flair wants Vader in the cage to find out once and for all who is the best!

Final Thoughts:
Well, there wasn’t a featured match on the show this week as it was more of a way to promote some of the lower midcard feuds. It was a rather boring show but it went by rather quickly, too.

Thanks for reading.
