Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) SMW Heavyweight Champion Dirty White Boy and Dirty White Girl are interviewed about their upcoming match with Brian Lee and Tammy Fytch. White Boy goes over the rules one more time. White Girl says that Tammy is in a lot of trouble when they get in the ring together. White Girl says that Tammy will never forget the Bluegrass Brawl.

2.) Bob Armstrong is interviewed by Bob Caudle regarding the loser leaves town cage match. Morton and Gibson have promised they will retire forever. The Heavenly Bodies had to sign a contract stating they’d never return. Armstrong is tired of wrestling Jim Cornette and is going to close Cornette’s mouth once and for all on April 1st.

3.) Jim Cornette is interviewed regarding what Bob Armstrong just said. Cornette knew that Armstrong would get bias rulings going once he returned to office. Cornette continues to tease the mystery man to take on Bob Armstrong. He makes sure to note that he may not be a wrestler, which is likely the direction this is going.

4.) Chris Jericho and Lance Storm come out for an interview. Storm says they wish the Rock N’ Roll Express luck in their cage but they want to make their mark in the company on their own. Jericho says they want to earn their title shots not because the Express lose the cage match, should that happen.

5.) Down & Dirty this week is with the Rock N’ Roll Express to hype up the Bluegrass Brawl loser leaves SMW steel cage match. Ricky Morton says that he has had a lot on his mind and wrote a letter for the fans and Robert Gibson. Morton is grateful for Gibson to be his partner and realized his place in life as a tag team partner with Gibson. He says a lot is at stake at the Bluegrass Brawl. Ricky thanks the fans for making his days in SMW the happiest of his career. Morton assures us that if they lose he will hangup the wrestling boots. Gibson knows that they have one more good one left in them and they embrace to end the segment.

6.) Tracy Smothers is interviewed regarding the upcoming ladder match with Chris Candido. Smothers hopes that the Rock N’ Roll Express win the tag match. We see footage of ladder matches on the house shows where Smothers was sent into a ladder in the corner and the ladder flipped himself and the ladder over the top to the floor, which looked very dangerous.

7.) Darryl Van Horn is interviewed regarding some great news, apparently. He says that Prince Kharis will get a title shot against Dirty White Boy. Kharis will get revenge for White Boy protecting Tim Horner back in November. He says that Kharis will break Dirty White Boy.

8,) White Boy works over Kyle with several strikes and rams Kyle into the corner head first. White Boy fights back with a series of strikes and Kyle bails to the floor. White Boy comes off the apron and hits Kyle over the back before they return to the ring. Kyle gets a few shots in on the champion but White Boy quickly fights back only to accidentally knock into the referee. Kyle drives White Boy down with a side slam. Brian Lee gets on the apron but Kyle accidentally hits Lee! White Boy tosses Kyle over the top to the floor and drops Lee with the Bucksnort Blast and pins Lee. After the match, Tammy Fytch gets in the ring but Chris Candido saves her and the heels bail to the backstage area. (*. The finish would make sense if White Boy was challenging Lee for the title, but it doesn’t help Lee look like a credible top heel contender. White Boy needs a new challenger for the belt, anyway.)

9.) Brian Lee and Chris Candido storm the ring and attack the Rock N’ Roll Express. Lee delivers a series of elbow drops to Morton while Candido chokes Gibson in the corner. Morton and Gibson send Lee and Candido into each other. The Express put figure fours on both heels but Tammy Fytch whacks Morton and Gibson with her purse! Candido knocks the Express down with several purse shots. The Express are laid out to end the program.

Final Thoughts:
I like the idea of Brian Lee and Chris Candido as a heel tag team. Seems like SMW will have fresh faces and challengers lined up at the Bluegrass Brawl event. This was a suitable go-home show, I thought.

Thanks for reading.
