Matches:
1.) OVW Television Champion Brent Albright defeated Ken Anderson to retain the title
2.) Matt Morgan defeated OVW Heavyweight Champion Elijah Burke to win the title
3.) MNM defeated Mac Johnson & Seth Skyfire

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Well, apparently the copy of television OVW sent out to people didn’t include the first match, but it is safe to say that Brent Albright won with his submission and promptly reminded Ken Anderson that he got tapped out by the best wrestler today.

2.) Morgan shows off his strength advantage by shoving Burke across the ring and taunts the fans afterward. Burke avoids Morgan in the corner and kicks the legs of the challenger. Burke hits a middle rope shoulder block but can’t keep Morgan down lone enough. Morgan stops Burke on the top turnbuckle but Burke shoves Morgan to the canvas but misses an elbow drop. Morgan decks Burke with a clothesline and taunts Burke on the canvas. Morgan sends Burke hard into the corner and continues to work over the champ. Morgan leg drops Burke over the apron for a two count. Morgan has a dragon sleeper on Burke but isn’t getting a submission. Burke fights out and plants Morgan with a DDT. Burke dropkicks Morgan a few times and a leaping forearm shot for a two count. Burke leaps off the top and nearly pins Morgan with a sunset flip. Burke hits a face buster but Morgan kicks out again at two. Morgan plants Burke with a swinging side slam but Burke kicks out at two! Morgan drives Burke down to the canvas with a choke slam but Burke manages to kick out at two. Burke nearly steals a win with a rollup. Morgan finishes Burke off with a vertical suplex turned into a Rock Bottom to win the title. (**1/4. Ya know, I like that Morgan won and did so cleanly. Burke did a great job of fighting back, but Morgan winning clean here cements him in his role, I’d say.)

3.) Jim Cornette is ready to interview Danny Inferno regarding his feud with Aaron Stevens. Inferno calls Stevens a coward for leaving last week and not showing up tonight to face him like a man. Inferno says that Stevens is a spoiled brat because he is mad that he lost a street fight for. Inferno notes that Trudi could be out of action forever due to that piledriver. Inferno is going to start treating Beth Phoenix like a man and says that Beth has a bigger set than Stevens does. Inferno doesn’t care where and when it happens but there will be a fight and Inferno will win that fight.

4.) The main event of this week saw MNM winning thanks to hairspray by Melina to the face of Mac Johnson. You’d think with MNM leaving to the main roster that they’d lose to a team that waited three months for revenge, but perhaps MNM is seen in quite high regard. After the match, MNM continued to work over the previously injured abdomen of Johnson and stand tall to end the program.

Final Thoughts:
An average episode this week that featured a title change. Cornette loves to overdo angles to the point where they do more harm than good, which is going on here with Inferno and Stevens.
