2.) Hunter Hearst Helmsley defeated Tony Williams
3.) Isaac Yankeem DDS defeated Bob Holly
4.) Psycho Sid defeated Savio Vega by disqualification

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Tatanka and Bigelow kick off the tag match with Tatanka delivering a knee lift and hammers away on Bigelow. Tatanka misses a strike and Bigelow connects with a couple of shoulder blocks. Bigelow taunts Tatanka by doing a War Dance of his own. Tatanka hammers away on Bigelow with a few overhand strikes but Bigelow blocks a backdrop attempt with a boot. Tatanka eye rakes Bigelow and brings him to his corner where Kama tags in. Bigelow comes off the ropes to hit a double clothesline. Godwinn gets tagged in and hip tosses Kama. Bigelow tags back in and boots Kama in the ribs. Tatanka punches Bigelow while on the apron and that gives Kama the cheap advantage as we go to commercial.

DiBiase is coming back to ringside with Psycho Sid. Tatanka tries to get a pin on Bigelow but only manages a two count. Tatanka knocks Godwinn off the apron and Bigelow gets double teamed in the corner. Kama power slams Bigelow and drops an elbow a few times for a two count. Tatanka continues to work over Bigelow with strikes but misses a clothesline and they both go for a cross body causing a collision and they crash to the mat. Kama and Godwinn get tags and Godwinn works over Kama with strikes. Godwinn clotheslines Kama and is fired up. Godwinn backdrops Kama but when he runs the ropes, Tatanka yanks the tope down an Henry crashes to the mat. Sid proceeds to power bomb Godwinn on the floor and casually walks backstage! This leads to a count-out giving Kama and Tatanka a victory. (*1/2. Not too bad of a match in the sense it furthered along the Sid/Godwinn issue. The action wasn’t exactly entertaining prior to that. It’s remarkable how far down the card Bigelow has fallen since WrestleMania.)

2.) A vignette promoting the debut of Goldust is aired.

3.) Vince McMahon is in the ring ready to conduct an interview with WWF World Champion Diesel and WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels. Before they can even say anything, Jim Cornette, Yokozuna, Owen Hart and Mr. Fuji appear on the podium. Cornette says that after Sunday, these two guys are going to have to replace the gold somehow. Cornette thinks that Diesel and Michaels are two guys who don’t go together and it will be proven on pay per view. Cornette is confident his men will be double champions. Michaels says that there is only one person who makes fun on Vince McMahon and that’s him. Michaels puts over the fact that they are brothers from different mothers. Cornette says that they will be two fellas who are yellow when Owen and Yoko get done with them. Owen says that the bigger they are, the harder they fall in regard to Diesel. Michaels declares that Diesel will drop Yokozuna with the Jackknife power bomb. Michaels is confident that they will win the WWF World Tag Team Championships for a second time. Cornette says that the smaller they are the further they fly. Diesel chimes in and says they will still be singles champions. Plus, they will win the WWF World Tag Team Champions for the second time.

4.) Yankeem backs Holly into a corner but Holly uses his speed to avoid Yankeem. Holly works over Yankeem with strikes in the corner and avoids Yankeem in the corner to deliver more punches. Holly drop toe holds Yankeem and controls the left arm. Yankeem drops Holly with a short arm clothesline. Yankeem back elbows Holly and follows up with a stomp. Yankeem rams Holly face first into the corner. Holly tries to fight out of the corner but Yankeem pummels Holly with some strikes in the corner. Yankeem slams Holly followed by an elbow drop for a near fall. Yankeem drops Holly throat first across the top rope and has a disgusting smile on his face. Yankeem big boots Holly to keep control in his favor. Yankeem sends Holly into the corner head first but Holly rams Yankeem face first into the turnbuckle. Holly goes to the top and hit a missile dropkick! Holly comes off the ropes with a clothesline. Holly backdrops Yankeem followed by a hip toss. Holly gets a two count following a dropkick. Yankeem plants Holly with a DDT and that’s good enough for a three count. (*1/2. There doesn’t seem to be much interest in the evil dentist. Holly gave a good fight in an extended squash.)

5.) Next week, Barry Horowitz teams with Hakushi to take on Skip and Rad Radford. Also, the British Bulldog will be in action against Fatu.

6.) Sid backs Vega into the corner and delivers a few strikes to the midsection followed by a slap to the face. Vega blocks a strike and ducks a clothesline to deliver more strikes backing Sid into the corner. Vega pummels Sid with right hands. Vega comes off the ropes but Sid stops Vega with a choke slam! Sid goes for the power bomb, but here comes Bam-Bam Bigelow to attack Sid! Henry Godwinn has come to ringside and stalks towards Ted DiBiase and chases him briefly. Henry dumps slop onto Sid, who was laid out on the floor! Sid is pissed grabs a chair and slams it against the apron. Sid continues to freak out on the floor before heading backstage.

Final Thoughts:
The Godwinn stuff has gotten quite a bit of airtime lately, and the slopping of Sid was rather entertaining and something I wasn’t expecting. This felt like an effective go-home show before the pay per view.

Thanks for reading.
