Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Bobby Heenan calls Elizabeth a two-timer and she might as well be one in Toledo.
2.) Shawn Michaels and Sensational Sherri cut a pre-tape promo during Bret Hart’s match. Michaels says that Bret deserves an applause for winning the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Michaels says he’s Bret’s greatest challenger and he’s the excellence of persecution.
3.) Special Report hosted by Lord Alfred Hayes focuses on Ultimate Warrior’s interview segment from last weeks Superstars where Warrior was with a handful of Warrior kids.
4.) The Beverly Brothers and Genius cut a promo on LOD saying that Paul Ellering isn’t going to help them. They don’t think LOD will get past them. LOD and Ellering respond with a promo. Ellering says revenge is best served cold. Animal is confident they will destroy the Beverly’s. Hawk chimes in and saying they don’t care and the Beverly’s will be left down and out.
5.) A vignette promoting Crush is shown. Crush has always liked to crush things, and we see the same video of him crushing a soda can as a child.
6.) There’s a confrontation between Rick Martel and Tatanka on the aisle after Martel’s victory. Martel tells Tatanka he smells and Tatanka scares Martel away from the area.
7.) Kerry Von Erich shared a pre-tape promo during his match. Von Erich says he’s been getting his mind right and he feels the best he has in a long time. He’s glad to be back.
8.) Mean Gene brings out the WWF Tag Team Champions Money Inc. and Jimmy Hart for an interview. Gene mentions the Natural Disasters being on their tail. Hart says that the Natural Disasters made his career a disaster after a year and a half. Hart believes they will keep the tag titles for a long time. DiBiase talks about Hart making a wise decision and aligning with them instead of the Disasters. DiBiase recalls them walking out of Mania as the tag champs, and that’s exactly what they did. DiBiase notes they don’t have to beat the Disasters, but they have to beat them. IRS says there are two disasters not having all the money, and not having enough money to pay your taxes.
9.) Big Bossman shares a pre-tape promo. Bossman says that the convict has thirty days to think about his past hard time. Because, if the convict comes after him in the WWF he’ll serve nothing but hard time again.
10.) Next week, Repo Man squares off against the British Bulldog. Repo despises dogs because when he repossess a car at night they bark. Bulldog also cuts a promo saying he stays alert all the time. Bulldog will not be tied down.
Final Thoughts:
An average episode of Wrestling Challenge as there weren’t any major developments. They are doing a fine job promoting the live event feuds.
