The finish was messed up a little bit, but it was a solid opening bout. They took Daniels out of the match with the injury angle, which I wonder means he’s already going to have a limited role in-ring for AEW. I’m a big fan of Best Friends, and having them lose even with the beatdown prior kind of sucks for them.)

Stunt eating the pin is not a surprise whatsoever, but he kind of doesn’t fit in with the other three guys. It’s tough to buy into Stunt as a viable competitor when he looks like a 14-year old boy. Pentagon and Fenix come across as complete stars.)

It should setup a match between Allin and Hager anyway.)

Final Thoughts:
It’s a good overall episode with the live crowd being into the action and providing a good atmosphere. They’re building to Full Gear well and I’m looking forward to the PPV already.
