Springate hits a swanton bomb. Sampson climbs to the top rope and splashes Delaney. All three men cover Delaney to win the match. (*1/2. From a story perspective this didn’t make a lot of sense. Freddie chose Sampson to be Delaney’s partner and then they were both conflicted about beating him up when they chose to put him in the spot having to know that Delaney wasn’t going to be a good partner. So, that aspect kind of took me out of the match. In the end, Delaney got beat up and that’s all that matters, really.)

A solid triple threat match, but I feel like Thomas shined more than Ephex with several moments where the crowd popped pretty well for Thomas. Ephex seems destined to be the next challenger for the title, so it makes sense. Thomas worked very well in the match, though.) After the match, it’s announced that Antonio Thomas will wrestle Samoa Joe in Utica in May.

It started a little slow with the stalling by Claudio, but that turned into a decent match and a hot finish. Brodie is a stud and an absolute star in the making.)

A solid enough match and Sunny did fine as the referee. Del Ray is great and that finisher got a pop from the crowd. Perez is 2CW’s top female wrestler and puts on a good showing against the competition that comes to 2CW. They got more time than usual and it didn’t feel like it dragged along at all.)

I enjoyed this as the complete carnage as it was. I’m surprised that the Alumni Club won, but they seem to be getting a push in 2CW. I liked the usage of AMIL and Up in Smoke as non-advertised additions to the show.) After the match, Kruz decks McKenzie to seemingly signal the end of the Killer Steves.

(***1/2. A better match for McGuiness compared to the previous night with Ephex. I’m wondering if McGuiness worked a better match for the Syracuse market because Watertown can get away with relying on legends. Plus, McGuiness likely works better with Edwards than he does with Ephex. They delivered a great match and quite impressive considering McGuiness having a major tricep injury.)

That was a great match and something that Loca Vida would never reach again in 2CW, sadly. Loca would become more of a comedy act in the following years with 2CW, but he was capable of incredible matches and that was the case here with Styles. Styles gave Vida a lot here and they killed it. This is easily a top ten match in 2CW history.)
