Hello and welcome to Total Non-Stop Rebooking. The rebooking for Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. The purpose of this series is to rebook TNA from the very beginning. The idea for this rebooking has come from a mixture of a few things. One of these been the amazing rebooking series for the WWF here on Wrestling Recaps added to my love for both TNA and the Cross the Line Podcast. I have wanted to do a rebooking for sometime but didn’t want to do the same as everyone else and either do WWF/E or WCW, which is where the idea for this TNA one came from. I had started a TNA rebooking on a forum but for the purpose of this I have decided to restart it with a few tweaks to the roster.
I have set myself a few ground rules to try and keep this as authentic as possible. First of all I can only use talent that is not under contract with anyone else. Any talent I do sign will remain with TNA for as long as I want to use them for. For example I have chosen to use Scott Steiner who didn’t sign for WWE until October/November 2002. In this rebooking TNA beat WWE to signing Steiner and therefore he will remain with TNA. Due to the rule I can use Steiner beyond the date he signed for WWE (in real life), should I decide to. The Second rule is that I will keep the weekly PPV format that TNA used and I will be doing it for the same duration of time as TNA did. The slight difference for me is that I will be utilising Xplosion as a weekly syndicated show that will feature a mix of highlights from last the previous Wednesdays PPV, a preview to the coming Wednesdays PPV mixed in with some exclusive matches, interviews and unseen footage.
The titles I will be using for this rebooking are the NWA World Title, which will be held by then champion, Dan ‘The Beast’ Severn (Won the title on March 9th 2002). NWA World Tag Team Titles held by then champions The Shane Twins (Won the titles on June 8th 2002), who will be managed by Motimer Plumtree. I will also be using the NWA National Title which was held by Hotstuff Hernandez (won the title on October 13th 2001 at NWA 53rd Anniversary Show). I will also be using the X Division Title which will debut as part of TNA.
