Rebooking The WWF: Week 28, 1995

RAW 7/10

1. Hughie The Clown defeated The Kid in 7:03 following a top rope moonsault. After the match, Hughie continued to attack Kid until Razor Ramon came down for the save to chase off Hughie.
2. John Bradshaw defeated Glen Ruth in 3:36 following a lariat.
3. Kings Court w/ Jeff Jarrett & Scott Norton: Jerry Lawler introduces Jeff Jarrett for an interview. Jarrett talks about how things got a little heated between himself and Norton the last couple of weeks, but Jarrett believes that everything has smoothed over and calls out Scott Norton. Norton makes his way out and Jarrett tells Lawler that Norton has realized his role between them and that Jarrett is the star and Norton is there to protect the star. Jarrett tells Norton that he (Norton) doesn’t have the brains to become more than what he is, but Jarrett has the brains and the talent to be at the top. Jarrett gets closer to Norton and pats him on the cheek telling Norton that “you’ve learned where your lane is, right?” Jarrett struts around the ring while Norton touches his cheek and when Jarrett turns around, Norton floors Jarrett with a clothesline. Lawler can’t believe this and tries to help Jarrett by attacking Norton, but Norton stops Lawler with a huge spinebuster as Jarrett has escaped the ring. Norton stares down Jarrett and proclaims that their partnership is OVER.
4. Hakushi defeated British Bulldog by count-out in 4:22 when Owen Hart attacked Bulldog on the floor by delivering a spinning heel kick. After the match, Bret Hart came out to check on Bulldog.
5. The Heavenly Bodies defeated The Rock ’n’ Roll Express in 10:52 when Prichard pinned Gibson with a spike piledriver to advance to the finals of the number one contender tournament.
6. Adam Bomb defeated IRS in 5:28 following a top rope flying clothesline.
7. Bam-Bam Bigelow Interview: Todd Pettengill interviewed Bam-Bam Bigelow regarding last weeks attack, and this week Bigelow has his own chance at the WWF World Championship. Bigelow feels a bit slighted and forgotten as a force in the WWF. So, Bigelow decided to remind people by sticking his nose into the business of Diesel and Sid last week. Bigelow has long had the desire to be WWF World Champion, and tonight on RAW the Beast from the East is going to stop Diesel’s reign right in its track. Bigelow will prove he’s the most dominate big man in the WWF.
8. Ron Simmons defeated Duke Droese in 2:56 following the Dominator. After the match, Simmons and the Movement stood over Droese as Simmons is declaring he will be WWF World Champion.
9. The Smoking Gunns defeated Men on a Mission in 6:22 when Billy pinned Mo after the Sidewinder to advance to the finals of the number one contender tournament.
10. Psycho Sid defeated Fatu in 5:15 following a powerbomb.
11. Shawn Michaels Interview: Jim Ross conducted an interview with Shawn Michaels regarding his loss at the KOTR coming up short against Bret Hart in the semifinals and his quest to become WWF World Champion taking a bit of a hit. Michaels tells Ross that KOTR wasn’t his night, but he can’t let a loss to a great wrestler such as Bret diminished his mindset and hold him back from the ultimate prize. Michaels notes that he hasn’t had the distractions he had leading into the PPV, and his focus on the future. Moments later, a letter is given to Ross by a production member and it has “HBK” written on it with a gold heart. Michaels decides to open it now, and Ross reads it as it says “Heartbreak Kid, I tried to fight my feelings. I tried to ignore you, but I can’t. I’m devastated I wasn’t there for you at King of the Ring. You’re the King in my heart. I can’t pretend that I’m not obsessed with you, and I’ve decided at WWF In Your House on July 23rd… I will show myself.” HBK seems a bit intrigued, and tells Ross that it’s probably a lovely female who is afraid to see him, and he’ll be at IYH on July 23rd.
12. Bob Holly defeated Paul Roma in 7:49 following a missile dropkick. After the match, Brian Lee attempted to attack Holly, but Holly was able to avoid the attack and escaped through the crowd.
13. WWF World Champion Diesel fought Bam-Bam Bigelow to a no contest in 6:47 when Psycho Sid attacked both men causing security to come out and keep all three men apart, but then the lights go dark, and the Undertaker appears at the top of the ramp to stop everyone in their tracks to close the program.

1. WWF Tag Team Champions Carlos Vega & Tatanka defeated Scott & Steve Armstrong in 4:36 when Tatanka pinned Steve following the End of the Trail.
2. The Kid defeated Chaz in 2:57 following a top rope moonsault
3. Kama defeated AC Connors in 3:41 with a gut wrench powerbomb.
4. Lex Luger defeated Skull Von Crush in 3:10 with the Torture Rack
