WCW Saturday Night 1/16/1999

  1. Chris Jericho defeated Steve Armstrong in 4:26 by submission with the Lion Tamer. After the match, Jericho cut a promo stating that tomorrow night at Souled Out, he’s going to force Konnan to submit and he’ll reclaim the WCW Television Championship.
  2. Devon Storm defeated El Dandy in 5:18 following the Mindbender.
  3. Stevie Ray defeated Vincent in 5:44 following the Slapjack
  4. Kanyon defeated Chris Adams in 6:32 following the Flatliner.
  5. Bam-Bam Bigelow defeated Johnny Swinger in 3:11 following the Greetings From Asbury Park. After the match, Wrath appeared on the aisle, but security prevented any interaction between the two prior to Souled Out.
  6. Diamond Dallas Page defeated Bobby Eaton in 4:06 following the Diamond Cutter. After the match, Page cut a promo saying that tomorrow night The Giant will feel the BANG.
  7. Scott Hall defeated Steve ‘Mongo’ McMichael in 7:10 following the Outsiders Edge. After the match, Hall cut a brief promo saying that the tag straps will be back with the Outsiders and that he’s beaten one Horsemen tonight and two more are going down at Souled Out.

WCW Worldwide 1/17/1999

  1. Barry Windham defeated Chase Tatum in 4:58 following a top rope superplex
  2. British Bulldog defeated Mike Enos in 6:13 following a running powerslam
