Obviously a good match and the crowd dug it, as well. I wish Private Party would have reached the finals since they had the major upset in the first round. Hopefully Private Party maintain a level of importance in the division.)

SCU wait for Grayson and they hit the SCULater knee strike for the win. (***. The crowd a little flat for most of the match and their interest rose when Inner Circle came down and caused a distraction by going to the suite. They did the best they could considering the flat crowd and having to overcome Inner Circle distracting the crowd. It’s a solid tag match. SCU winning makes sense considering the storyline with the Lucha Brothers taking out Daniels.)

Their match was better on AEW Dark because they were able to do dangerous stunts and pop the crowd. Again, it’s a solid match, but probably dragged a little bit.)

Cody says this isn’t like the other company that came from and he can just step through the ropes and head up there to fight right here and right now. Jericho tells the crowd to shut their mouths. Jericho knows that Cody is smart and wouldn’t do something stupid. Jericho knows that Cody is a coward and wouldn’t come up there and calls Cody a bitch. Cody takes his jacket off and goes to jump the railing, but stops when Jericho notes the number difference. Dustin Rhodes makes his way out and make it 4 versus 2.
