Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan are on commentary. Heenan believes in Shango’s curse since Ultimate Warrior puked up his lunch. Heenan doesn’t wanna know what Shango knows.
2.) Legion of Doom cut an insert promo during their squash match. Animal says we’ll find out who the real sissies are. Hawk says it’s funny that the Beverly’s called them sissies when the Beverly’s look like the upstairs and downstairs butlers for Boy George.
3.) Special Report with Lord Alfred Hayes this week focuses on the curse by Papa Shango on Ultimate Warrior recently. Warrior had severe abdominal pain and proceeded to vomit on the doctors backstage.
4.) British Bulldog shared an insert promo saying that Repo Man didn’t finish the job when Repo hung him over the ropes. Bulldog says that he’ll be the last dog hung by Repo Man.
5.) Ric Flair and Mr. Perfect are having a picnic with a random woman. Flair says people take life way too seriously sometimes. Flair says that Elizabeth won’t leave him alone and says she’s now on the outside looking in at this point. Flair knows that she wants back. Perfect plays a voice message left by Elizabeth. Elizabeth is heard saying that she misses him and is going to give him an extra special homecoming. Flair has everything that he wants and Elizabeth has nothing left for him. Flair promises the WWF World Championship will come back to him.
6.) The mysterious voice taunting Big Bossman is heard and says that he’s out now since Bossman put him away.
7.) Shawn Michaels cut an insert promo saying he’s not spoiled. When he wants something, he really wants it and he gets it. Michaels wants the WWF Intercontinental Championship and he’s going to get it.
8.) Mean Gene conducted an interview with Sgt. Slaughter on the podium. Slaughter says he’s here to make a pledge to the Mountie. Slaughter notes two weeks ago Mountie zapped him with a shock stick during his match. Slaughter will pledge what the best country has always done. He will not backdown from Mountie and he’s going to take Mountie out. Slaughter talks about Memorial Day and asks everyone to show respect leading to everyone doing the Pledge of Allegiance.
9.) Tatanka shares an insert promo about Rick Martel taking his feathers. Tatanka promises it will be all over for Martel when they square off again.
Final Thoughts:
A fine show to promote the feuds and the local house shows coming up. I liked the Flair/Perfect promo to advance the issues with Savage/Liz.
