From:

Matches:
1.) Justin Credible & X-Pac defeated Steve Blackman & Grandmaster Sexay

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Michael Cole and Tazz are the hosts for Heat and they promote WrestleMania, which will have 65,000 fans in attendance. This is the lead in for WrestleMania, obviously. This will mainly have video packages and promos.

2.) Backstage, William Regal is talking to a picture of the Queen saying that it is a wonderful day to become WWF Intercontinental Champion at WrestleMania by defeating Chris Jericho.

3.) Yesterday, Chyna revealed at WWF Axess that she’s healthy and that Ivory will not have anyone with her at ringside. Chyna is looking forward to the match and is going to have a lot of fun. Chyna promises to have a good time.

4.) Backstage, Lilian Garcia tries to interview the Bushwhackers and they just yell while shoving food in their mouth. They lick Garcia’s face to end the segment.

5.) Freddie Blassie, Afa, and Capt. Lou Albano is at WWF New York. Blassie believes that Iron Sheik will win the gimmick battle royal. Afa picks Kamala and Albano picks Hillbilly Jim to win the battle royal.

6.) Yesterday at WWF Axcess the Undertaker brawled with Triple H. They will be wrestling each other at WrestleMania. Triple H was also interviewed by Kevin Kelly during a photoshoot. Kelly asked if HHH is mentally ready for the match. HHH doesn’t appreciate the question and asks Kelly if he’s ever looked like he’s not ready to wrestle the Undertaker. HHH has never been more ready for anything in his life. HHH promises that Taker will bite off more than he can chew when they meet at WrestleMania. HHH will make everything else he’s done look like child play when he’s done with Taker at Mania.

7.) Backstage, Kevin Kelly interviews Chris Benoit. Kelly asks Benoit who the best technical wrestler in WWF is. Benoit promises to humble Angle and make him scream tonight. Benoit is going to make Angle tap tonight.

8.) Earlier today, Grandmaster Sexay tried to convince Steve Blackman to dance tonight, but Blackman is not interested, but appears to give in to the request.

9.) Blackman and Sexay get the early advantage in the main event. Sexay slams Pac and a double backdrop to Credible. Pac sends Sexay into the corner and misses the bronco buster. Sexay goes to the middle rope and hits a bulldog. Albert is on the apron and clotheslines Sexay. Pac spin kicks Sexay while wearing his glasses and taunts the crowd. Credible tags into the match and works over Sexay in the corner with strikes and stomps. Credible powerbombs Sexay out of the corner for a two count. Pac tags back into the match and kicks Sexay followed by a chop. Sexay fights back with right hands, but runs into a spin kick by Pac. Credible returns to the match and Sexay hits a double clothesline to both men. Sexay tags in Blackman, who cleans house with kicks. Blackman nails Pac with an elbow strike and punches Credible to the mat. Albert is taken care of on the apron, but Sexay is met with a double superkick leading to a pin for Pac. (*1/2. They did enough to keep my interest, which is impressive since Sexay and Blackman aren’t up to much. Pac and Credible needed to win since they are part of a new heel stable and the momentum is needed to be a viable group. I could get behind them as a heel duo.)

Final Thoughts:
It’s WrestleMania 17 day, who cares about Heat?
