4.) Shawn Michaels defeated Texas Tornado by count-out
5.) Nasty Boys defeated Jim Powers & Jim Brunzell

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Vince McMahon, Bobby Heenan, Mr. Perfect, Jim Duggan & Hillbilly Jim are the panel this week. McMahon brings up the Natural Disasters recently winning the WWF Tag Team Championships from Money Inc. Perfect can’t believe it happened. McMahon notes that Perfect is wrong yet again since Flair isn’t in the main event at SummerSlam. Perfect blames Tunney for that decision. Heenan gets frustrated by McMahon continuing to mention that Flair isn’t in the main event at SummerSlam.

2.) Skinner spits on the urn to start the match prompting Taker to choke Skinner in the corner. Skinner grabs the alligator claw and decks Taker, but Taker doesn’t go down. Taker stalks Skinner around ringside before returning to the ring. Skinner punches Taker several times with the claw. Skinner jumps onto Taker’s back and chokes Taker before being rammed into the corner back first. Taker chokes Skinner in the corner to maintain the advantage. Taker sends Skinner into the corner and continues to choke Skinner for a few moments. Taker sends Skinner into the corner again while keeping a choke. Taker comes off the ropes to hit a flying clothesline. Taker spikes Skinner with the tombstone to win the match. (1/2*. There’s not much to this one, really. Taker dominates as expected.)

3.) The panel talks about the upcoming tug of war between WBF and the WWF superstars. Heenan thinks that the WWF superstars have the advantage.

4.) Virgil backs Brawler into a corner, but backs off. Brawler backs Virgil into a corner and delivers a strike. Virgil chases Brawler, but Brawler bails to the floor. Virgil follows to deliver a strike. Brawler misses an elbow drop and is met with a hip toss and dropkick sending Brawler to the floor to regroup. Virgil tries for a rollup, but Brawler hangs onto the ropes. Virgil drop toe holds Brawler. Virgil avoids Brawler in the corner leading to a rollup for a two count. Virgil keeps control with a headlock on the mat. Virgil clotheslines Brawler a few times, but is dumped over the top to the floor. Brawler sends Virgil into the ring post shoulder first. Brawler rolls Virgil back into the ring and stomps Virgil on the lower midsection leading to a two count. Brawler keeps Virgil on the mat with a sleeper. Virgil punches Brawler, but runs into an elbow strike in the corner. Brawler scoop slams Virgil and taunts the crowd. Virgil almost wins with an inside cradle. Brawler decks Virgil with a clothesline to regain control of the match. Brawler delivers an elbow drop onto the lower midsection area. Virgil delivers a neckbreaker to Brawler. Virgil strikes Brawler a few times. Virgil elbows Brawler coming off the ropes followed by a clothesline and dropkick. Virgil hits a side Russian leg sweep for the win. (*. A little bit a competitive match, but Virgil winning is no surprise whatsoever. Virgil looked pretty good in there despite the crowd not being all that invested in the action.)

5.) The panel discuss Nailz. Duggan thinks Nailz should still be in jail and Hillbilly Jim says he’s a criminal. Heenan reveals that Nailz had three parking tickets and that’s why he was in jail.

6.) Kamala wins his squash match easily following a big splash.

7.) Mean Gene hosts the first SummerSlam 1992 Repoort, which is taking place in London, England at Wembley Stadium. WWF World Champion Randy Savage defends against Ultimate Warrior. WWF Intercontinental Champion Bret Hart defends against British Bulldog. The Undertaker squares off against Kamala. Shawn Michaels will battle Rick Martel.

8.) The panel talk about the match between WWF Intercontinental Champion Bret Hart and British Bulldog at SummerSlam. Heenan doesn’t care about the family issues they are having over the match. Heenan thinks that Stu Hart should just focus on shoveling. McMahon thinks if someone gets hurt the other family will be upset. Heenan still doesn’t care.

9.) Tornado shoves Michaels into the corner out of a lockup. Tornado shoves Michaels away a second time. Michaels pummels Tornado with right hands in the corner, but Tornado rams Michaels into the corner a few times. Michaels bounces out of the corner and falls to the floor face first. Michaels checks his face in the mirror. Tornado shoulder blocks Michaels and sends Michaels over the top to the floor with a clothesline. Tornado leaps off the apron to strike Michaels on the floor before returning to the ring. Tornado grabs Michaels by the legs and lets go to send Michaels into Sherri on the floor. Tornado runs into a boot in the corner. Michaels stomps Tornado in the corner to keep the advantage. Tornado leapfrogs over Michaels, but Michaels nails Tornado with a superkick. Tornado sends Michaels into the corner and delivers a strike to the chest for a two count. Sherri distracts Tornado, but Tornado puts the claw on Michaels. Michaels tries to escape the ring, but is pulled back in by Tornado. Sherri pulls Michaels out of the ring and Tornado crashed to the floor, as well. Sherri rolls Michaels back into the ring and Michaels wins by count-out. (*. Tornado is washed. The finish protects Tornado for whatever reason. Michaels should be getting all the momentum to build him up as a singles heel.)

10.) The panel discuss the Savage, Warrior, and Flair situation. Heenan and Perfect were laughing at the segment that happened over the weekend. They think it’s funny the two bozos are going after each other. Heenan says there’s no sense in crying over spilled milk and they might as well enjoy themselves.

11.) A vignette promoting Razor Ramon is shown. It’s the same one shown from over the weekend. He’s not wishing for anything. He’s taking what is coming to him.

12.) The panel discuss the tug of war showdown between the WWF and WBF taking place this Saturday.

13.) Sags and Powers kickoff the tag match with Sags working over Powers with right hands. Sags nearly collides with Knobbs, but Powers sends them into each other. Powers hits a double clothesline and sunset flips Sags, but avoids a punch. Powers gets a rollup for a two count on Sags. Powers controls Sags with a wrist lock. Brunzell tags into the match, but Sags eye rakes Brunezll. Knobbs enters and is met with a drop toe hold. Powers leaps off the middle rope to deliver an axe handle. Powers tags Brunzell back into the match and they keep control of Knobbs arm. Powers tags back into the match and takes Knobbs down to the mat to deliver a leg drop to the left arm. Brunzell returns to the match and is met with a knee lift and forearm by Knobbs. Brunzell dropkicks Knobbs to the floor. Knobbs is frustrated on the floor regrouping with Sags and Jimmy Hart. Powers controls Sags in the corner and Brunzell enters to deliver an elbow strike. Brunzell decks Knobbs off the apron, but Sags knee lifts Brunzell from behind to the floor. Sags side slams Brunzell leading to a near fall. Sags controls Brunzell with a bearhug. Brunzell breaks free and axe handles Sags over the back. Knobbs enters and Powers gets the tag to clean house with strikes and a knee lift to knock Knobbs to the mat. Powers punches Sags in the corner and leaps off to strike Knobbs. Sags misses an elbow drop and hits Knobbs. Powers rams the Nasty Boys into each other. Powers dropkicks Knobbs for a two count. Brunzell brawls with Sags. Powers and Brunzell hit stereo facebusters. Powers is distracted by Hart is driven down by a double DDT. Sags covers Powers and wins the match. (**. I enjoyed the match a lot more than I was expecting to. Brunzell and Powers worked well as a duo. The pace was fast and the action as compelling. It was a good TV match.)

Final Thoughts:
An average episode of PrimeTime this week. They touched upon the major angles well. I’m still confused by the Disasters winning the titles before SummerSlam. I feel as if the title change might as well happened at the PPV instead. SummerSlam is shaping up well, though.
