1.) Footage from WWF Superstars is shown to start the show. Ric Flair confronted Ultimate Warrior and continues to play mind games between Warrior and Savage. Which corner will Flair and Mr. Perfect be in at SummerSlam? Who can be trusted?
2.) More footage from WWF Superstars is shown this time focusing on Mr. Perfect confronting WWF World Champion Randy Savage. Perfect told Savage that Warrior has made Perfect an offer he may not be able to refuse.
3.) The Beverly Brothers and The Genius share some thoughts during the Natural Disasters match. Blake says there’s no way they can knock them off their pedestal. Beau says their tag team title celebration has been planned and the titles will be theirs at SummerSlam.
4.) Bruce Hart, Bret Hart’s brother, talks about the match between Bret and Bulldog. Bruce thinks that Bret’s ego is too big and doesn’t let him realize reality. Seems like Bruce is siding with Bulldog for SummerSlam.
5.) The British Bulldog shared comments during Bret Hart’s match. Bulldog says the family is divided. Bulldog wants to keep the family out of it at SummerSlam and they find out who the better man is.
6.) Next week, High Energy, The Mountie, Virgil, Razor Ramon and a singles match between Tatanka and Skinner will take place.
Final Thoughts:
A decent episode for Wrestling Challenge this week. They focused well on the mind games between Warrior and Savage. For not having a match on the card, Flair remains a major fixture for the event.
