Berzerker cuts an insert promo saying he can’t wait to rip Tatanka’s throat out at SummerSlam. Tatanka almost wins with a backslide and nails Skinner with a clothesline. Tatanka comes off the ropes with an overhand chop and goes on the war path. Tatanka delivers a backbreaker and heads to the top rope. Tatanka nails Skinner with another overhand chop and hits the End of the Trail for the win. (*. Simple and effective for Tatanka.)

3.) Lord Alfred Hayes hosts WWF Update. The focus of the segment is on the mind games being played by Ric Flair and Mr. Perfect between WWF World Champion Randy Savage and Ultimate Warrior. Warrior shared a promo regarding the situation. Warrior talks about wondering and questioning how low Savage would go to retain the title after listening to Flair speak. Warrior knows that Savage do whatever it takes to retain the title. Warrior would do and pay any price to win the title once again. Warrior knows they both know having the perfect manager would guarantee a victory. Warrior asks which one is willing to sacrifice their fans to be the champion. Warrior promises to leave the arena at SummerSlam as the champion. WWF World Champion Randy Savage also shares a promo saying that he agrees about the perfect manager guaranteeing victory. Savage doesn’t agree about having to sacrifice their fans. Savage says the fans know who he is and where he’s going. Savage says Warrior only has to worry about the apology to his fans for losing to the Macho Man at SummerSlam.

4.) Backstage, Mean Gene interviews High Energy following their victory. Gene talks with Owen Hart about the match between WWF Intercontinental Champion Bret Hart and British Bulldog. Koko B. Ware says that Owen has been a wreck about the family being divided. Owen isn’t concerned about who wins, but rather for who loses as it has impacted the family.

5.) Nailz shares comments during Virgil’s match. Nailz says that Big Bossman is only half the man he was because of him. Nailz promises that Virgil will not be that lucky at SummerSlam.

6.) Mean Gene hosts SummerSlam Report. Ric Flair and Mr. Perfect are standing by to share comments. Perfect says he’s still talking to both Savage and Warrior to manage one of them. Flair says if they have the money then Perfect has the time to manage them. Flair has two plane tickets for the flight to London and they aren’t flying coach. Rick Martel cuts a promo on Shawn Michaels saying that Michaels knows that his face belongs on Mount Rushmore. Martel promises to give Michaels a wrestling lesson at SummerSlam. Shawn Michaels also cuts a promo saying that Martel’s face is made of stone while his face is all natural. Michaels knows that nobody would want to see his baby face get struck. Michaels is a man of his word about no strikes to the face. Mean Gene suggests that Sherri could be “spreading the wealth” as it pertains to Michaels and Martel.

7.) The Nasty Boys cut a promo to close the program. Jimmy Hart is thrilled about their contract to wrestle Savage and Warrior. Sags says he’s going to smash Warrior with the WWF World Championship. Knobbs says they are going to kick their teeth in.

Final Thoughts:
A fine episode of Wrestling Challenge this week. I liked the added touch of talking to Owen Hart about the match between Bret and Bulldog at SummerSlam. They’ve done a solid job overall promoting SummerSlam in recent weeks.
