Kamala bails on the match and escapes through the crowd to lose the match by count-out. (*1/2. That was a bit better than I ever thought it would be. Kamala showed some great agility and while the match was a little slow in spots, I found myself enjoying it despite the low rating for quality.)

A decent feature bout and a clean finish can make all the difference.)

6.) The panel discusses the previous match between Quake and DiBiase. Heenan thinks it would have been a different outcome if Hart and IRS had gotten involved.

7.) Nailz joins the show via satellite. Nailz has one thing to say and that’s to Big Bossman. Nailz says that Bossman was probably the toughest guy in the joint. Nailz says there are no more steel bars between them anymore. There are no more handcuffs on him. Nailz says Bossman can no longer spray him with a hose and harass him. He’s a new boss in town and it is Bossman’s turn to serve hard time. McMahon asks what Nailz was in jail for, but Nailz refuses to answer the question. Hart lets go of the Sharpshooter and is decked from behind by Blake with a forearm. Blake covers Hart and picks up the win. After the match, Sgt. Slaughter comes out and tells the referee what happened. Slaughter raises Hart’s arm. Hart is awarded the match by disqualification. Hart dropkicks the Beverly’s to the floor. (*1/2. It’s honestly a bit bizarre to see Blake Beverly pin Hart even if there was interference. Sure, Bret wins by DQ, but the visual of Blake pinning Hart confuses me. Why use Bret in this manner to get Slaughter over as an authority figure?)

9.) The panel talks about Sgt. Slaughter maintaining order. Heenan thinks Slaughter is a paid snitch. Heenen isn’t happy with Slaughter having so much power. McMahon notes Flair is the champion due to cheating, but Heenan disagrees.

10.) The panel talks about the main event announced for Survivor Series. Heenan is concerned thinking that Slaughter and Tunney will allow Savage and Warrior to do whatever they want. Duggan tells them to worry about Savage and Warrior, not Slaughter. Heenan suggests being in charge, as well, but the panel shoots that down as the show comes to an end.

Final Thoughts:
I’d consider this a good episode of Prime Time despite the odd booking of Bret Hart. The feature matches were entertaining and the interview segment Nailz and Bossman was effective to promote their eventual match. An easy episode to watch this week.
