1.) The shows starts off with ECW Television Champion Kid Kash hitting the Money Maker on Psychosis to win the match and retain the title. After the match, Rhino slides into the ring and attacks Kash hitting the GORE. Rhino sets a table up on the floor, but RVD made the save on the apron. Rhino tries to hip toss RVD, but RVD counters and hip tosses Rhino off the apron through the table on the floor. RVD stomps on Rhino on the floor before rolling Rhino back into the ring. RVD goes to the top hitting a kick to Rhino’s face. RVD has a chair and dropkicks the chair into Rhino’s face. RVD plays to the crowd and they are going nuts for him. Rhino sends RVD into the railing and they continue to trade strikes. RVD kicks a chair into Rhino’s face and Rhino crawls backstage to get away while RBD returns to the ring and plays to the crowd. (I would have liked to have seen the Kash/Psychosis match, but this was a strong way to open the show as it quickly grabbed my attention.)

2.) Joey Styles is in the ring, but we get a news bulletin informing us that Tommy Dreamer has suffered an injury last night. We return to the ring where Prodigette says she is sick of how women are treated in wrestling and they are just tits and ass for the losers. Prodigette says other women get on their knees to get their jobs in the first place. Prodigette says the women are just walking around with fake tits. That comment brings out Dawn Marie to confront Prodigette. Marie says the people came to see her and proceeds to give Prodigette a stunner. Marie rips off Prodigette’s clothing. Wesley and Prodigy make their way out to confront Marie, but Steve Corino and Jack Victory come out. Corino and Wesley start a singles match.

3.) Corino low blows Wesley and an elbow strike. Corino heel kicks Wesley for a two count. Corino misses a clothesline and is met with a superkick by Wesley. Wesley punches Corino, but Corino blocks a tilt a whirl to hit the Old School Expulsion in short order. After the match, Corino signals for the title.

4.) The Musketeer is in the ring to cut a promo. He’s there to introduce himself and does just that. Musketeer says he has mat skills and calls himself a shooter. Musketeer says the competition has been in fear of him. Musketeer defies anyone in the locker room and issues a challenge to the locker room. We get another injury announcement regarding Tommy Dreamer. Back to the ring, Jazz has responded to the challenge and spin kicks Musketeer. Musketeer responds with a dropkick and a clothesline. Musketeer tries for a slam, but Jazz avoids it and hits the Jazz Stinger for the quick win. After the match, Chris Chetti whacks Jazz over the back with a steel chair shot. Chetti hits the Amytville Horror onto the chair. Chetti gets a microphone and says he’s the best pure athlete in ECW. Chetti is annoyed that he doesn’t have a belt to prove it and blames Nova for that. Chetti calls out Nova.

5.) Nova runs to the ring and brawls with Chetti. Nova gets the momentum, but Chetti bails to the floor. Nova hits a slingshot crossbody to the floor. The locker room empties to break them up before a commercial.

6.) Back to the bar in NYC, Red Dogg is escorting a patron out of the club and dumps him on the sidewalk. Dogg rips off his fake leg and doesn’t want to give his leg back. Dogg agrees only because Matty is there.

7.) York and Doring kickoff the tag match. Doring gets a front face lock, but York counters with a wrist lock. They counter each other on the mat with neither man getting an advantage and they have a standoff that the crowd shows their appreciation for. Matthews tags into the match and the fans want Roadkill to enter the match. Roadkill taunts Matthews to get a pop. Doring hammers away on York, but is met with a knee lift. Doring plants York with a G-Spot leg sweep. Roadkill gets the tag and cleans house with clotheslines and strikes. Roadkill side slams Matthews and does the same to York. Roadkill splashes both men in the corner. Doring hits the Bareback on Matthews. Roadkill has a wheelbarrow on York allowing Doring to hit a middle rope leg drop for the clean win. (**1/2. I enjoyed the match as they kept a decent pace and the offense was mostly enjoyable. York and Matthews are seemingly being used as enhancement for the tag division and for the moment I don’t hate the decision to do that. They are a young team and their time will come. Doring and Roadkill have really come a long way and are probably the most popular tag team and if not they are right behind Tajiri and Whipwreck.) After the match, they shake hands showing respect for each other. Tony Mamaluke and Little Guido attack Roadkill and Doring. They are looking to take out potential challengers to their tag titles. Big Sal hit a middle rope splash on Roadkill. Guido hit the Kiss of Death on Doring onto a tag title. Sal splashes Doring from the middle rope, as well.

8.) Before the main event, the honorary commissioner Spike Dudley made his way out to ringside. Spike is recovering from a broken right leg. Spike gets a microphone and gets a pop from the Buffalo crowd. Spike has signed a deal and announces he’s the commissioner for the evening. Spike decides who gets to wrestle tonight. Spike says that Tommy Dreamer was suppose to team with Lynn, but Dreamer suffered a separated shoulder and isn’t cleared to compete. Justin Credible takes that as being a handicap match tonight. Spike says there is another guy to be his parnter, but Rhino isn’t interested and GORES Spike.

9.) Lynn is double teamed for a moment, but Sandman makes his way down the aisle with a kendo stick and whacks Rhino and Credible a few times. Sandman takes Rhino down with a White Russian leg sweep and does the same to Credible. Rhino decks Sandman a few times in the corner. Lynn and Credible brawl on the floor as Rhino and Sandman are brawling on the aisle. Sandman sends Rhino into the guard railing back first. Credible and Lynn brawl into the crowd. Rhino sits Sandman on a chair, but misses a GORE and hits the railing shoulder first. Sandman brings a piece of guard railing to the ring. Sandman rolls Rhino into the ring and sets the railing up. Sandman sends Rhino into the railing leading to a near fall. Credible rams Lynn into a table at ringside. Sandman tries for a suplex onto the railing and hits it. Sandman Swanton bombs the railing on top of Rhino for another near fall.

Sandman dumps Rhino to the floor as Credible and Lynn return to the ring. Sandman slams a table onto Rhino while Lynn gets a two count on Credible. Lynn hammers away on Credible in the corner while Rhino hits Sandman with a wooden chair. Lynn connects with a tornado DDT on Credible onto a chair for a near fall. Rhino whacks Lynn over the back with a steel chair for a near fall. Sandman pummels Credible with strikes, but Credible backdrops Sandman through a table on the floor. Rhino clotheslines Lynn out of the corner for another two count. Credible superkicks Sandman and taunts the fans. Rhino piledrives Sandman off the apron through a table. Lynn gets a two count on Credible. Lynn accidentally hits a middle rope crossbody on the referee. Lynn avoids That’s Incredible and spikes Credible with a cradle piledriver. However, Danny Daniels doesn’t count the fall. Lynn tries for the piledriver, but Francine gets involved. Credible hits Lynn with the kendo stick, but Loc stops Daniels with a clothesline. Credible sends Loc into a GORE! Lynn gets an inside cradle, but there’s no referee and Rhino stomps Lynn. Rhino and Credible hit a spike piledriver and Daniels does a fast count to give them the win. (**1/2. An enjoyable brawl by these two teams. I like that the heels won despite Sandman being a surprise partner. I enjoy those kinds of twists. The fast count avoids diminishing Lynn as a threat to the title leading into the PPV. This was a well done match with solid angle advancements.)

Final Thoughts:
A couple of solid matches make this a thumbs up edition of Hardcore TV. ECW has been putting on some quality TV in recent weeks and building towards the PPV fairly well.
