NWA-TNA Xplosion

Jeremy Borash and Mike Tenay host Xplosion with Borash promoting what they’ll be showing. Borash is mostly promoting stuff that was on the weekly PPV, and not anything that will be shown exclusive to Xplosion.
MATCH #1: 3 LIVE KRU (BG JAMES, KONNAN & RON KILLINGS) VS. DELIRIOUS, KID USA & NATE WEBB
FINISH: James hits a pump handle slam on Kid USA to win the match.
Bob’s Take: Konnan showing off some motivation early on hitting a nice reverse DDT in the early stages on Webb. I feel like Konnan tends to kind of go through the motions at this point in his career more times than not. Konnan and Killings hit a odd looking double team stunner on Delirious at one point. This was completely one-sided, but a solid enhancement showing for 3LK. Also, Dave Prazak was at ringside for the bout, but was not mentioned.

MATCH #2: THE GATHERING (ALEXIS LAREE & JULIO DINERO) VS. DAIZEE HAZE & MATT SYDAL
FINISH: Dinero pins Sydal following a middle rope reverse suplex.
Bob’s Take: Dinero has been looking good on Xplosion in recent weeks, and may be a guy who benefits from having showcases on Xplosion compared to PPV appearances. Sydal flying around the ring continues to be a joy to watch. Dinero embraces the high spot energy hitting a nice flatliner and springboard elbow out of the corner at one point. Haze and Laree kept the energy up, and Haze got some momentum on Laree including a hurricanrana. The crowd popped for them rolling around in an inside cradle for a few moments. Dinero stood out here with his intensity. I liked this.

MAIN EVENT: THE HARRIS BROTHERS VS. ANDY GOOCH & JASON PORCARO
FINISH: Harris Brothers finish off Gooch with the H-Bomb.
Bob’s Take: It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that this is mostly the Harris Brothers destroying two undersized enhancement guys. This is the only form that I can tolerate the Harris Brothers, and even then I kind of hate myself. For me, they have the same go-away heat that the babyface Bushwhackers have for me. Gooch hits a nice springboard dive to the floor at one point, but then got destroyed with a big boot and sending a chair into his face.

NOTE: On various sites it is listed as having a Elix Skipper vs. Chris Hero match on the show, but that is not the case and this appears to be the full program.
Final Thoughts:
A decent episode of Xplosion this week as the mixed tag match stood out mostly for Dinero’s performance. 3LK and Harris Brothers looked good in their performances, too.
