Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Yokozuna is being presented strongly and easily won his enhancement match hitting the Bonsai Drop. The crowd is shown several times looking on in shock and awe at the dominance of Yokozuna since arriving to the WWF.

2.) WWF Special Report with Lord Alfred Hayes is up next. Hayes announces Royal Rumble taking place in Sacramento, California. The main event will see WWF World Champion Bret Hart defend against Razor Ramon. Hayes proceeds to explain the concept of the Royal Rumble match. We see footage from last years Royal Rumble match to help promote the match.

3.) Gorilla Monsoon mentions that this years Royal Rumble has a first time stipulation where the winner will challenge the WWF World Champion at WrestleMania IX, whomever the champion may be at that point.

4.) The mysterious clown is seen in the crowd during the Beverly Brothers enhancement match.

5.) Slick preaches saying that tough times don’t last forever, but tough people do.

6.) Harvey Wippleman and Kimchee share pre-tape comments during Kamala’s match. Wippleman claims that Kamala is going to be stronger than ever before because he’s listening to them now.

7.) Footage from WWF Superstars is shown where Bret Hart was interviewed by Mean Gene. It led to a confrontation with Bobby Heenan and Ric Flair. Razor Ramon also joined the segment. Eventually, there was a brawl and Mr. Perfect came out to help Hart.

8.) The mysterious clown comes down to ringside during Backlund’s match, but doesn’t get involved in the match. After the match, Backlund slips on a banana peel.

9.) Next week, Marty Jannetty, The Headshrinkers, Nasty Boys, Razor Ramon, The Undertaker, and WWF World Champion Bret Hart.

10.) Ric Flair and Razor Ramon are interviewed saying they will stop at nothing. They are serving notice on Hart and the world. One of them will take the title. Ramon says if the right one doesn’t get you, the left one will. Ramon tosses his toothpick at the camera to end the program.

11.) Bobby Heenan manages to let the audience know that WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels has left the building.

Final Thoughts:
It’s a bit bizarre that Ramon is getting the title match, but he’s a fresh heel and hasn’t been in a singles main event so it’s a fresh matchup. I absolutely thought it would be Hart vs. Flair, but they’re settling for house shows for that feud. Next weeks episode appears to be stronger for talent being showcased than they were this week.
