Bret Hart will face WWF World Champion Yokozuna at the Survivor Series Showdown on the 22nd of November.
Second Contest: The Headshrinkers defeated Mike Bucci/Mike Moraldo: Bucci dropkicks Moraldo who was caught by Fatu attempting a cross body and gets a near fall. Fatu works on Bucci with a backbreaker and a double head butt with Samu. Double face plant and Fatu connects with a top rope big splash for the win.
Footage from WWF Superstars where Lex Luger says that Tatanka will be at the Survivor Series in spirit. Luger introduces their new tag team partner… the Undertaker! Taker says he and everyone else believes in “American Pride”. Taker will stand with his partners and survive with them. Taker reveals an American flag painted inside his coat.
Third Contest: Lex Luger defeated Quebecer Pierre: Luger with several right hands and a back suplex for a near fall early on. Luger with a running clothesline for another near fall and Pierre takes a breather on the floor. Polo attempts to distract Luger but Luger manages to backdrop the charging Pierre over the top to the floor. Pierre with a arm wrench submission and manages to deliver a few knees as well. Polo distracts Luger again and Pierre rams his knee into the back of Luger sending him to the floor. Pierre sends Luger into the ring steps. Pierre lifts Luger up and rams Luger against the ring post. Polo is going to hit Luger with his stick, but the crowd makes too much noise for Polo to sneak in the attack. Pierre with a splash off the middle rope for a near fall. Luger fights out of a camel clutch. Coming back from commercial, Pierre still has a choke hold locked in. Main Event: Diesel defeated Sid Garrison: Diesel with complete control. Diesel with a big boot and a side slam early on. Diesel with a simple big boot and a elbow to pick up the easy win.
Todd Pettengill with the weekly Survivor Series Report. Footage of Doink confusing Bastion Booger by having three Doinks on the jumbo screen. Doink insults Booger with several booger jokes. There aren’t any new matches announces so apparently all the matches scheduled for the show have been announced.
Jeff Jarrett is in a video recording area. Someone we all would know later on as Jacqueline is the assistant who is sucking up to Jeff Jarrett. She doesn’t act too well though. Jarrett says he will do everything by himself to achieve greatness.
End of Show
My Take: Pierre looked really good in a losing effort to Lex Luger. Luger looked pretty bad in the winning effort. I starting to wonder who Jeff Jarrett will get involved with when he finally debuts in the WWF. Diesel has the size but is lacking the experience and skill to be a force in the WWF. Without Shawn Michaels, Diesel really is useless in my opinion. The Undertaker joining forces with Lex Luger and the Steiner Brothers makes that team really strong.
