RAW opens up with a video promoting the six man tag team match that will be taking place on the show.

Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels are on commentary and promote the show which will see Razor Ramon in action and an interview with WWF World Champion Diesel. Michaels has a huge surprise in store for the World Wrestling Federation.

Opening Contest: Tatanka/IRS/King Kong Bundy defeated Lex Luger/Men On A Mission:
Mabel and Bundy kick off the contest. Mabel backs Bundy into a corner and delivers a few strikes. Bundy looks for a splash in the corner but Mabel clotheslines Bundy and gets a two count. Mabel nails Bundy with a leaping kick to the back of Bundy’s head for a two count. Mo tags in and leaps off the top to deliver a double axe handle. Mo goes for a scoop slam but Bundy simply blocks it and tags in IRS who works on Mo with several strikes. IRS drops an elbow but only gets a two count. Mo ducks a clothesline and hits a cross body, dropkick and a scoop slam for a two count. Tatanka tags in after IRS pokes Mo in the eyes. Tatanka begins to hammer away on Mo with several right hands as RAW goes to commercial. Mabel gets tagged in and Tatanka backs off. Tatanka is shoulder block after he comes off the ropes. Mabel connects with a clothesline for a two count and drops an elbow. Mabel tags in Luger but Tatanka crawls away and tags in IRS. IRS knee lifts Luger and comes off the ropes to shoulder block Luger. Luger counters a hip toss with a backslide for a two count. Mo tags in but is met with a knee lift from IRS. Ted DiBiase was on the apron for some reason during that exchange. Tatanka knee lifts Mo in the back from the apron. Tatanka tags in and works on Mo for several moments. Bundy tags in knee drops Mo for a two count. Several moments later, Mo avoids a splash in the corner by Bundy and tags in Luger. Luger enters and hammers away on Bundy with right hands. Luger rams IRS head first into Bundy and IRS is clotheslined over the top to the floor. Luger scoop slams Bundy but Tatanka clotheslines Luger from behind. Mabel tosses Tatanka into a corner but Tatanka plants Luger with a DDT as Mabel is on the apron. Bundy covers Luger and gets the win. (*1/4. I’ll never understand why Mo gets tagged into the match. He is clearly the weakest link of the three and it’s not even close. This was a pretty dull tag match with the crowd only getting excited for the final ten seconds of a ten plus minute match. It is a good win for the Corporation win, though.)

A video hyping up Man Mountain Rock is aired. By the way, he is Maxx Payne who is best known from WCW.

Lawrence Taylor’s attorney Bobby Cupo talks on behalf of Taylor saying that he didn’t intend to embarrass Bigelow at the Royal Rumble. Taylor has no interest in wrestling but if Bigelow continues to taunt him with challenges they will look into legal settlements.

Second Contest: Man Mountain Rock defeated Charlie Hunter:
Rock win the bout following a front suplex.

Footage from yesterday’s Action Zone is shown. WWF World Champion Diesel defeated Owen Hart on the show. Shawn Michaels walked out from the backstage area and stared at Diesel who was celebrating his win.

Vince McMahon sat down with WWF World Champion Diesel recently for an interview. Diesel puts over both Owen and Bret as great athletes. He guesses that the scouting report is go for the legs since he has had nine operations during his life. He doesn’t know what Michaels issue is since he got involved at the Rumble and on Action Zone. They talk about being a role model and McMahon breaks kayfabe by calling him Kevin Nash. We see several clips of Diesel taking part in several publicity events. Diesel says he really doesn’t have time to do anything, which is funny because McMahon causes that. Diesel says he isn’t working this hard to have Jeff Jarrett beat him in two weeks on RAW.

Shawn Michaels has picked February 20th as the date he will reveal his new bodyguard. Michaels shows a black eye as he needs a bodyguard to protect him.

Third Contest: Mantaur defeated Leroy Howard:
Mantaur wins following a belly to belly suplex.

Fourth Contest: Razor Ramon defeated Frankie Lancaster:
Ramon wins following the Razors Edge.

Main Event: Henry Godwinn defeated Bill Weaver:
Godwinn picks up the win following the Slop Drop.

RAW is pre-empted next week. In two weeks, WWF World Champion Diesel vs. WWF Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett for the world championship. Bam-Bam Bigelow returns from suspension and Shawn Michaels reveals his bodyguard.

Shawn Michaels reveals that he is no longer going to be on commentary. He has to take care of himself.

Final Thoughts:
Nothing all that memorable or noteworthy happened this week on RAW. The six man tag wasn’t all that exciting and seemed to drag on quite a bit. There wasn’t a Kings Court this week so the one consistently good segment on the show wasn’t even on! In two weeks RAW returns and I must say, the featured bout looks interesting and two major angle developments will be taking place. I’m looking forward to it.

Thanks for reading.
