2.)Crush defeated Doink the Clown by count-out
3.)WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels defeated Kevin Kruger
4.)Men on a Mission defeated Mitch Bishop & Chad Miller

Angle Developments/Notes:
1. The show starts off with a video highlighting the body slam challenge on July 4th. Several top wrestlers and athletes tried to slam Yokozuna but failed. Until, Lex Luger arrived via a helicopter and slammed the WWF World Champion Yokozuna to an enormous reaction! Yep, Lex Luger has been turned into a babyface!

2. Mean Gene hosts the Face to Face segment. This week it’s between Yokozuna and Bret Hart. They will be having a steel cage match at Madison Square Garden. Hart believes it will work in his favor and says that Yokozuna will have a hard time getting out of the cage. Fuji lets Hart know that he will pay at Madison Square Garden. It goes down August 13th!

3. Prior to the featured match, Doink appears on the big screen and tells Crush that he doesn’t know how many Doink’s there could be. Doink is behind Crush during this tosses water into Crush’s face to get the cheap advantage. Crush is driven down to the canvas by Doink with a swinging neck breaker. Doink uses the ropes for extra leverage while having a Boston Crab on Crush. Doink is focusing his offense on Crush’s left knee. Crush makes his comeback with a backdrop. Doink is able to get Crush down to the mat and wraps his leg around the ring post a couple of times. Crush kicks Doink back in the ring but is poked in the eyes by Doink. Doink runs into a big boot in the corner! Crush drops Doink throat first across the top rope to keep the advantage in his favor. Doink turns the tables by jumping on Crush’s back as the show went to commercial. Crush connects with a tilt a whirl backbreaker! Doink runs into a big clotheslines as Crush starts to get a lot of momentum. Crush tries for the Kona Vice but Doink avoids it with an eye rake. Doink continues his offense with a middle rope clothesline to keep the big man down. Doink scoop slams Crush and heads to the top rope but Crush blocks the Whoopee Cushion by getting his knees up! Crush delivers a vertical suplex but Doink pokes him in the eye. They fall to the floor when Doink hits a cross body. Crush press slams Doink on the floor! Doink sends Crush into the ring post shoulder first but Crush back drops Doink onto the floor and returns to the ring to win by count-out. (***. A good, lengthy match this week. They put on some good action with not a lot of rest holds. They told a good story and my interest was in the match throughout the whole segment.) After the match, another Doink enters the ring and breaks a stick over Crush’s back. Crush is beaten down by two Doink’s!

Final Thoughts:
A good episode this week despite there not being a big interview segment or anything. The featured match took up a good chunk of the show and since it was a quality bout it didn’t hurt the show at all. So, this episode gets my approval.

Thanks for reading.
