Angle Developments/Notes:
1. Yikes, the featured match this week is the Bushwhackers vs. Well Dunn. The match is about two or three minutes and I’ll save myself the torture of having to sit through it completely. Late in the match, Luke gets tangled up in the ropes and Well Dunn looked like they were in prime position to win. Sadly, that wasn’t the case. Butch headbutts Timothy Well and Luke lands on top for the win. After the match, Well Dunn attack the Bushwhackers. That doesn’t last as they are sent into each other as well. Harvey Wippleman doesn’t realize that his team has been beaten up. They are doing a tug of war with Wippleman. The Bushwhackers rip his pants off to end the segment. Vince suggests that the Bushwhackers could get a title shot against Diesel and Shawn Michaels. Is he trying to go out of business?
2. Shawn Michaels is back with the Heartbreak Hotel once again this week. Diesel starts off talking and is showing some charisma that he didn’t previously display in the WWF. He wants another tag team to try and stop them! Michaels notes that the belts were smelling like fish when they were on the Headshrinkers. Shawn introduces his guest this week, Ted DiBiase and Tatanka! Tatanka is wearing a suit and is looking professional. Michaels had no idea that DiBiase had Tatanka up his sleeve. Shawn asks if DiBiase ever had any intention in signing Lex Luger. Ted says that Luger had his chance but blew it. Tatanka admits that he was in on the swerve all along. Tatanka brags about being in custom attire and having all the money. Tatanka’s evil rich laugh really needs to be worked on.
Final Thoughts:
An uninteresting week for Superstars this week. The only positive I can see from this is that Diesel is showing some charisma and isn’t just some quiet bodyguard. Other than that, there was nothing good going on here.
Thanks for reading.
