Date:
12/24/1994
From: Poughkeepsie, NY

Matches:

2.)Hakushi defeated Reno Riggins
3.)Lex Luger defeated An Unknown
4.)Jeff Jarrett defeated An Unknown
5.)Doink the Clown defeated An Unknown
6.)King Kong Bundy defeated An Unknown

Angle Developments/Notes:
1. The Heavenly Bodies get the early advantage working over Butch and Luke before the bell sounds. Del Ray focuses his offense on Luke’s left knee. Del Ray leg drops Luke across the middle rope while the referee is distracted. Butch gets the hot tag and cleans house. Butch tries for a suplex back into the ring but Del Ray trips Butch and Pritchard lands on top to win the match. (*. A really short match, but another good win for the Heavenly Bodies.) After the match, Jim Cornette runs away from the Bushwhackers.

2. Vince McMahon recently sat down with WWF World Champion Diesel. Diesel is looking forward to his match with Bret Hart at Royal Rumble. Diesel wishes the fans a Merry Christmas. He thinks there are a lot of unanswered questions from his first meeting with Bret Hart. Diesel puts Bret over as a someone who doesn’t give up. If Bret Hart puts the Sharpshooter on Diesel, what happens? Diesel is sure he will experience pain but doesn’t know if he would give up. Diesel thinks this match will be different because there will not be any outside interference. Diesel says the best man will win on January 22nd. Diesel says the black and chrome will raise supreme and he stands up with his fist in the air.

3. Despite the fact Hakushi made his debut last week on Action Zone, the announcers hype this up as his debut. Hakushi won with a top rope flying head butt.

4. Shawn Michaels is mad that the Heartbreak Hotel was pre-emptied this week. That was because of the interview with WWF World Champion Diesel. Michaels says his first guest of the New Year will be the Undertaker!

Final Thoughts:
A lackluster show this week. The feature bout was bad and the main interview segment was okay. Diesel did a good job of putting Bret Hart over and making people think that perhaps Bret could beat him. I feel like that’s what needs to be done. This show gets a thumbs down, though.

Thanks for reading.
