Angle Developments/Notes:
1. Bobby Heenan and his family of wrestlers are standing in the ring to kick off the show. Actually, it is also filled with various other heels. Heenan is crowning a new king to replace Harley Race, who is out with injury. The new king is… Haku! Haku sits down on his throne while Heenan cuts a promo to make it official. Heenan puts the crown on Haku’s head and the heels applaud their new king. He also gets his gown and is carried to the backstage area.

2. Craig DeGeorge conducted an interview with the WWF World Champion Randy Savage and Elizabeth. Savage is ready for anyone whether they have money or they don’t. This brings out Bobby Heenan and Andre the Giant. Andre is taunting Savage as if he is going to choke him. Ted DiBiase runs up from behind and knocks the champ off the podium. Andre holds Savage and DiBiase beats down Savage on the floor while Virgil holds Elizabeth and forces her to watch the beating on the floor! Andre begins to choke Savage some more while DiBiase goes back to beating down the champ. They toss Savage back onto the podium and Elizabeth is kneeling over her fallen man, crying.

3. WWF Intercontinental Champion Honkytonk Man shared some comments during Beefcake’s match saying that no one was going to cut his hair off.

Final Thoughts:
I enjoyed the show as there was two major angle segments. The angle involving Haku becoming the king should mean a push for him up the card. From what I can remember, Haku was just a tag team worker up to this point, but now that his partner is gone he had to find something new to do. The attack on Savage was done very well and gives DiBiase more heat for the main event feud. A thumbs up for this show.
