Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Sting is interviewed to start the show. Sting tells Rick Rude that he is fired up thanks to the recent attack from Rude on television. Sting is ready for Rude at Spring Stampede in two weeks.

2.) The Boss is interviewed after his easy victory. Boss says that being handcuffed to the ring is just fate asking him to fight Vader. Boss is going to make sure that justice is served at Spring Stampede.

3.) WCW Television Champion Lord Steven Regal is interviewed following his victory. Regal says that Brian Pillman showed his true sportsmanship when he left the ring recently to attack Sir William. Regal stood up for his manager. Regal says that Pillman got his shot because he cried to management. Regal says there will be a lot of tears shed at Spring Stampede in Chicago.

4.) Harley Race and Big Van Vader are interviewed as Vader is smashing a chair on the floor. Race thinks that people should call Boss the Hitman because Boss is the reason that Vader is not the WCW World Champion. Vader says he has never given up at anything in his entire life. He has never submitted to any man in his career and blames Boss for costing him the championship at Superbrawl. Vader tells Boss to be prepared to pay the price at Spring Stampede.

5.) After Buck wins his match he ties up Erik Watts with a rope to continue some punishment but here comes Dustin Rhodes to make the save sending Buck to the floor following several strikes. Col. Robert Parker leads Buck to the backstage area to avoid any further interactions.

6.) WCW World Champion Ric Flair is interviewed regarding his upcoming match with Ricky Steamboat but also the buzz of Hulk Hogan coming to WCW. Flair says he can beat Hulk Hogan with a snap of his fingers. Flair thinks that Hogan should come to the pay per view and sit at ringside. Flair invites Hogan to come to the victory party at Spring Stampede. Ricky Steamboat comes over and says that Flair is doing it again. Steamboat is not happy that Flair is dismissing him as a challenger. Steamboat is not a push over and he is going to take the championship from Flair. Flair invites Steamboat to sit in the front row and wants Hogan to tune in next week as Flair will remind everyone what greatness looks like. Steamboat has tasted greatness once and he knows what it feels like. Steamboat will be at ringside next week.

7.) Steve Keirn is interviewed about his tag team partner that he has been hyping up. Keirn says we will see the partner in just a few moments like everyone else. Keirn says that everyone tried to be his tag partner and he says the partner fits in his tuxedo just like he knew he would. Keirn says their team name is Bad Attitude. Keirn enters the ring and reveals his tag partner as being Bobby Eaton.

8.) Col. Robert Parker and WCW United States Champion Steve Austin are interviewed. Parker says that Bunkhouse Buck has done what he has wanted when it comes to Dustin Rhodes. Parker has a suitcase which he says is the most important one in the business. Austin thanks Parker for bringing the challengers to him and says that Ric Flair is ducking him. Austin is convinced that he is the number one contender. Austin knows that Great Muta is a great wrestler but tells Muta that he better bring his best because he will be.

9.) Ron Simmons comes out to ringside to be in Kole’s corner. Bobby Heenan goes over and talks to Simmons who says he has an arm injury and isn’t a punk. Kole works over Bagwell’s left arm for a few moments but Bagwell counters to do the same to Kole. Bagwell dropkicks Kole into the corner and hammers away on him with right hands. Bagwell monkey flips Kole out of the corner and keeps control of the left arm. Kole counters a piledriver attempt with a backdrop. Kole hits a scissors kick and leaps off the middle rope but misses a splash attempt. Bagwell hammers away and drops Kole with clotheslines. Simmons trips Bagwell from the outside and Kole nearly wins the match. Simmons gets on the apron but collides with Kole and Bagwell rolls Kole up for the victory. (*1/2. Not much with the action but it was quick enough that it never came across like it was dragging or anything like that. I’d hardly consider this an upset, which you’d think the announcers were hyping it up as being one.)

Final Thoughts:
There wasn’t much going on here as the show didn’t feature a top feature match and it mainly just promoted the pay per view and some of the matches scheduled to take place. It did a fine job promoting Spring Stampede, so it’s not a useless week, just nothing memorable.

Thanks for reading.
