4.) Tracy Smothers defeated SMW Heavyweight Champion Brian Lee in a non-title coal miners glove match

Angle Developments:
1.) Mr. Daryl Van Horn is interviewed about a mystery wrestler he will be managing. Horn says that he doesn’t want to let too much out about his new man. The wrestler is nearly 7ft tall and weighs nearly 300 pounds. Nobody has ever seen his man wrestle before because he has never competed in a ring previously. In just a few weeks the man will enter SMW. Horn refuses to give a name for the wrestler he will manage.

2.) Jim Cornette is interviewed saying that Bob Armstrong isn’t fooling anyone wearing the Bullet mask. Cornette says that Killer Kyle has the number of Bob Armstrong. Cornette says Kyle is going to be the man to take Armstrong out of action.

3.) Tracy Smothers is interviewed regarding his upcoming match with SMW Heavyweight Champion Brian Lee. However, tonight he gets his hands on Brian Lee with a coal miners glove match. Smothers is going to scale the pole and knock Lee out into the next area code. Smothers is looking forward to the Parade of Champions in Johnson City where Lee turned on him originally. Smothers says his injured knee is hanging in there when he was injured by Dirty White Boy and Brian Lee. Smothers says that Sherri Martel is going to knock Tammy Fytch out, as well.

4.) Dirty White Boy is interviewed following his match. White Boy notes that there are a lot of things going on in his life. White Boy says that Tammy Fytch is screwing with the mind of Ron Wright. He wants his manager back. He is getting sick and tired of Brian Lee’s mouth and Tracy Smothers. White Boy wants his manager back and Wright’s $20,000. White Boy is confident that he will be the man to take Smothers out of action.

5.) The premier edition of Tammy’s Tips is next. Tammy is sitting on a table and insults the fans for being poor and not knowing how to live the life of luxury. Tammy can’t work miracles of helping people to become beautiful. She plans on transforming a female into a gorgeous human being. Tammy has a regular person and interviews the female focusing on her nails. The woman weighs trash for a living and her nails are blackened. Tammy continues to insult the hygiene of the female. Tammy introduces the fan to perfume to keep from smelling. Tammy laughed on a few occasions as it was just ridiculous segment.

6.) Jim Cornette and the Heavenly Bodies are interviewed regarding their match with the Steiner Brothers. Cornette says that the Steiner Brothers are going to find out just who the best tag team in the world really is in Johnson City. Cornette says that the Heavenly Bodies will regain the SMW Tag Team Championships soon enough. The Bruise Brothers come out and ask for another shot at the Rock N’ Roll Express. They say they can get the job done. Cornette says the Bruise Brothers failed him when they lost the belts back to the Express. Cornette tells them to listen to him and they will get back to the top once again. Cornette tells them they are second string but maybe sometime they will be first in line.

7.) US Jr. Heavyweight Champion Bobby Blaze is interviewed. Blaze thanks all the fans for their support and says that while Candido may beat him for the belt he will never throw the belt into the river. Blaze is possibly one of the worst talkers SMW has with constant stumbling over his words.

8.) Lee and Smothers trade rights in the corner with Smothers sending Lee into the corner before attempting to get the glove but is stopped by Lee. They go to the floor where Lee sends Smothers into the guard railing and drops Tracy with a right hand on the floor. Smothers sends Lee face first into the ring post and hammers away on Lee. Smothers rolls Lee into the ring and heads to the top rope hitting a double axe handle. Smothers goes back to attempting to get the glove but Lee low blows Smothers and stomps away on Tracy. Smothers hits Lee with his jacket and sends the champion into the railing back first. Lee sends Smothers shoulder first into the ring post. Lee drives his knee into the groin of Smothers to keep control of the match in the ring. Lee begins to wrench on the injured knee of Smothers, but Tracy isn’t giving in.

Tammy and Wright distract the referee while Lee uses the ropes for leverage, but the referee sees the cheating to break the hold. Smothers prevents Lee from getting the glove but Lee hammers away on Smothers. Lee goes back to the corner and begins to climb the ropes until Smothers gets up and drops Lee to the canvas. Lee stops Smothers from climbing up the turnbuckle with a right hand, as well. Lee is on the top turnbuckle but is crotched by Smothers to stop Lee from reaching the glove. Tracy hammers away on Lee in the corner with several right hands. They collide in the middle of the ring. Dirty White Boy comes down to the ring and grabs the coal miners glove! White Boy leaps off the top and misses Smothers instead hitting Lee with the glove. Smothers sends White Boy to the floor and Smothers pins Lee! (*1/2. There wasn’t much going on here and it was more of a way to continue the three person feud over the championship. The crowd didn’t seem to be overly interested in the action, either.)

9.) To close the program, Brian Lee and Dirty White Boy have a confrontation with Lee asking White Boy what he was doing because he had Smothers defeated. Ron Wright tells White Boy that Fytch and Lee have them in their best interests. Wright is thinking about adopting Fytch! Wright tells White Boy to calm down. Fytch tells White Boy that if she were to be adopted she would be the sister to White Boy! White Boy isn’t thrilled and leaves the scene to end the program.

Final Thoughts:
It was a fine episode to give some last minute hype for the Parade of Champions weekend. The Lee/White Boy/Smothers feud is continuing to be interesting, but it looks like Smothers will be getting pushed out of the main event picture after the weekend.
