2.) Bruiser Bedlam defeated James Adkins & Chris Hamrick in a handicap match
3.) SMW Beat The Champ TV Champion Kendo The Samurai defeated Dirty White Boy by count-out to retain the title

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Bob Armstrong and Tracy Smothers are interviewed regarding Summer Blast. Armstrong has a special statement later on for Jim Cornette. Smothers will be wrestling Bruiser Bedlam in the coal miners glove match during Summer Blast. Smothers knows he can climb a pole faster and will knock Bedlam to the next area code. Tracy assures Armstrong that he will take care of business.

2.) Ricky Morton is interviewed regarding the piledriver matches with Brian Lee and Chris Canddio coming up. Morton explains what a piledriver match is and its self explanatory. Morton asks Tammy Fytch to come out and talk to him. Tammy Fytch makes her way out but she looks like she doesn’t trust Morton. Morton says they have something for Fytch. Robert Gibson comes up from behind and dumps a bucket full of horse manure over Tammy’s head! Brian Lee and Chris Candido run out but they can’t help her at that point. Tammy is crying and whining yelling at Brian Lee for this happening to her. Lee carries her out of the scene.

3.) Jim Cornette and Bruiser Bedlam are interviewed following the handicap match. Cornette talks about Tracy Smothers and the coal miners glove match. Cornette says that Smothers can get the glove to save Bedlam from having to get it. Because, Beldam will be able to use the glove and knock Smothers out. Cornette puts over Bedlam as being someone to has knocked everyone out no matter who they are.

4.) SMW Heavyweight Champion Jake Roberts has some words regarding Dirty White Boy. Roberts says that everyone can look up to him and idolize him. Roberts tells White Boy to wake up and insults Dirty White Girl as being someone who had a lot of miles on her and he parked her. Roberts enjoyed hitting the DDT on Dirty White Girl. Roberts suggests that if Dirty White Girl had her way she would come back around for another drive around the block.

5.) White Boy works over Kendo in the corner to start the bout with several shots and head butts. Kendo doesn’t sell them and drops White Boy with a series of overhand strikes. Kendo keeps control following an elbow strike after White Boy came off the ropes. White Boy delivers a flurry of right hands and a big boot to knock Kendo down. Kendo scoop slams White Boy and follows up with a leg drop for a near fall. Kendo focuses his offense around the usage of a nerve hold. Kendo comes off the middle rope to hit a double axe handle for a two count. White Boy comes off the ropes and is met with a big boot. White Boy gets out of a nerve hold and power slams Kendo for a near fall. White Boy delivers another power slam but here comes Jake Roberts who tosses the SMW Heavyweight Championship onto the apron and taunts White Boy. Roberts trips Kendo from the floor and gives Kendo something in his mask. White Boy picks up Kendo and avoids the mist. White Boy hits the Bucksnort Blast but the referee is distracted. Kendo knocks White Boy to the floor where Roberts is waiting. Roberts dumps some water on White Boy and decks White Boy with the championship. White Boy can’t get up and Kendo retains by count-out. (*. The advancement of the White Boy/Roberts feud is the only highlight of the match.)

6.) Dirty White Boy is interviewed to end the program. White Boy says he mother told him he would have to fight the devil and he thinks maybe this is the time to fight the devil. White Boy says that when he makes love he wonders if he is man enough for his wife. He wants Dirty White Girl to be proud to be with him. White Boy says his family will not be ashamed of him this day forward.

Final Thoughts:
I’m impressed with Dirty White Boy really selling the seriousness of the feud with Jake Roberts and how much of an impact it has had on him. I thought the manure segment was effective to give the Rock N’ Roll Express some momentum and make the heels look foolish. A fine episode this week for SMW, I’d say.

Thanks for reading.
