Matches:

2.) George Steele & Junkyard Dog defeated Steve Lombardi & Tony Nardo
3.) Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff & Hercules defeated Billy Jack Haynes, Nick Kiniski & Mario Mancini
4.) Jake Roberts defeated Tony Garea
5.) Killer Bees defeated Joe Mirto & Jack Kruger
6.) Don Muraco defeated Lanny Poffo

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Rotunda and Valentine start the match with Valentine taking Rotunda down and goes for a figure four but can’t get the hold. Rotunda slams both Valentine and Beefcake. Rotunda atomic drops Valentine and Spivey delivered an elbow strike. Valentine clubs Rotunda over the back with a forearm shot. Rotunda kicks Valentine and Spivey gets tagged in to clean house on Valentine with strikes and a clothesline in the corner. Spivey slams Valentine followed by a leg drop after coming off the ropes for a two count. Valentine eye rakes Spivey and tags in Beefcake. Beefcake comes off the ropes with a forearm drop for a two count. Rotunda sends Beefcake into the ropes delivering an elbow shot. All four guys are brawling in the ring whee Rotunda has Beefcake in an airplane spin but Johnny V enters to elbow drop Rotunda. The match ends in a disqualification. (*. The brief action wasn’t awful and I like the team of Rotunda and Spives, actually. This felt like some kind of angle for these two teams.)

2.) WWF Update with Mean Gene is focusing on Honkytonk Man. Honky is at the recording studio and putting together something for all the WWF fans. Honky says it won’t be long until teh fans get to hear what he puts out.

3.) WWF Intercontinental Champion Randy Savage says that he has no respect for George Steele and knows that JYD doesn’t have what it takes to beat him. He shared those comments during their tag team match.

4.) Footage from the Flower Shop that was aired a few weeks ago. Piper insulted Adonis and Slcik. Adonis had several heels with him and apologized to them for Piper. Slick threatens Piper saying he was lucky to have left when he did because he would have snapped him.

5.) A video promoting the return of Billy Graham is shown. He has a few spiders on his body saying that he eats the snakes, and scorpions to get in shape. Graham got mad and is back on the wrestling scene.

6.) After winning his match with a DDT, Roberts has a tantrum because the referee helped Tony Garea get out of the ring to avoid the snake.

7.) Backstage, Hulk Hogan cuts a promo talking about the kids tearing up Paul Orndorff’s posters and dolls. Hogan says that everything he has worked for can be taken away from him. He says the issues with Orndorff will get personal in the ring.

8.) Adrian Adonis, Jimmy Hart and Bob Orton Jr. are setting up the Flower Shop. The fans are chanting for Piper and Adonis gets fed up with that as he walks away. We also saw Piper cleaning up the Flower Shop for his Piper’s Pit segment. Piper has a broom and hits trash on the floor. Piper says it is not his fault that Adonis wanted to have a debate. “It’s like trying to save the Titanic with a cork.”

10.) Jimmy Hart shared some comments saying that the Killer Bees are guys standing in the way of the Funk Brothers from winning the WWF Tag Team Championships and they’ll just have to go through them.

11.) A video promoting a wrestler named Dick Slater is shown. Slater drives up in a truck and has trouble shutting the car door. Slater gives a tour to the audience of his ranch. Slater introduces his horse and that’s it.

Final Thoughts:
Despite there being a feature match this episode felt kind of weak and didn’t have much going for it. They’ve been promoting the Adonis/Piper debate for next week pretty well so that should be interesting.

Thanks for reading.
