Date:
12/1/2002
From:

Matches:
1.) Tommy Dreamer defeated Justin Credible
2.) Rosey & Jamal defeated Danny DeNucci & Pat Cusick
3.) Sean O’Haire defeated Chuck Coates
4.) D’Lo Brown defeated Johnny Stamboli

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Credible backs Dreamer into a corner and delivers a right hand to send Dreamer to the floor. Credible continues with another right hand and stomps in the corner. Credible powerbombs Dreamer out of the corner for a near fall. Credible tries for an axe handle off the middle rope, but is met with a boot to the face. Dreamer fights back with right hands and a swinging neckbreaker. Credible decks Dreamer over the back, but Dreamer hits a powerslam for a near fall. Credible tries for a DDT, but Dreamer reverses and connects with a DDT of his own. (*. These two had some great matches in ECW, but this isn’t ECW and Credible isn’t allowed to have competitive matches most of the time.)

2.) Earlier today, Raven met with The Fink in the hallway. Fink says they have talked about many things and asks why Raven broke his opponents last week. Raven says there must be consequences for our actions. Raven says it hurt him more than it hurt him. Raven will be brave for the people and that is why he’s creating a masterpiece. Raven is going to have immortality. Raven believes people can’t or won’t change. Raven is going to demonstrate one of the seven deadly sins every week. Raven walks off and Fink is left thinking.

3.) Rosey and Jamal won their match following a press slam turned into a Samoan Drop by Jamal on DeNucci. The crowd was giving them a positive reaction for their power offense.

4.) O’Haire won his extended squash match with a reverse Death Valley Driver.

5.) Brown attacks Stamboli before the bell and delivers a few strikes. Stamboli holds onto the ropes and bails to the floor to regroup. Brown follows and gives chase, but Stamboli elbow drops Brown followed by stomps. Stamboli is kicked by Brown, but hits an overhead suplex for a near fall. Stamboli controls Brown on the mat with a chin lock. Stamboli yanks Brown down to the mat and argues with the referee. Stamboli puts Brown in a tree of woe and delivers several boots. Stamboli shoulder rams Brown in the corner. They collide on stereo clothesline attempts. Brown decks Stamboli with a clothesline and forearm smash. Brown heel kicks Stamboli followed by a slam and leg drop for a near fall. Stamboli tries for a press slam, but Brown counters with the Sky High to win the match. (*. Well, that was predictable for Stamboli to do the job once he got a little bit of momentum. There wasn’t much going on here, really.)

Final Thoughts:
Similar to Velocity, this was a lackluster episode of Heat. Rosey and Jamal should probably be a babyface tag team, but they are insisting on them remaining heels for whatever reason. Raven’s angle is interesting and it gives something unique to Heat in terms of storylines.
