Match #1: Chris Benoit & Dean Malenko defeated Scott Steiner & Buff Bagwell to advance to the finals of the WCW Tag Team Championship Tournament in 8:29 when Benoit pinned Bagwell after a diving headbutt off the top rope. After the match, Steiner is notably upset with Bagwell for losing the match.

Match #2: Eddy Guerrero defeated WCW Cruiserweight Champion Billy Kidman in 14:45 to win the title following a top rope frog splash. After the match, LWO continue to beatdown Kidman as Guerrero celebrates his championship win. However, Devon Storm and Rey Mysterio Jr. rundown to the ring to the make the save.

Backstage, Mean Gene conducted an interview with Diamond Dallas Page. Page talks about being put through a table, but he’s still standing and he’s ready to bring the fight to Giant. Tonight, Giant will feel the BANG, and DDP will be the last man standing.

Match #3: Wrath defeated Bam-Bam Bigelow in 7:13 following a top rope shoulder block.

Backstage, Mean Gene conducted an interview with the WCW United States Champion, Booker T. Booker tells Gene that tonight is the biggest night of his career to this point. Booker tells Gene that tonight he’s going to prove that he’s a player to be feared in WCW. Tonight, it’s Booker T’s night and Bret Hart will respect him when he beats him.

Match #4: Diamond Dallas Page defeated The Giant in a Last Man Standing match in 11:09 after DDP countered a chokeslam attempt off the side of the stage into a Diamond Cutter off the stage through two tables. DDP struggled to his feet at the count of nine to prevail.

Backstage, Mean Gene conducted an interview with Bret Hart. Bret tells Gene that 1999 has not started his way at all and he’s disappointed in himself. Bret knows that he’s still the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be in professional wrestling. Bret does say that if Booker prevails tonight he’ll be man enough to shake his hand, but that’s simply not going to happen.

Match #5: Kanyon defeated Rick Steiner in 7:36 following the Flatliner. After the match, Kanyon tells Lenny Lane to get in the ring and Lane uses his camera for Kanyon to get in Rick Steiner’s face and tell him “and the reality is… you’re a loser!”

Match #6: WCW Television Champion Konnan defeated Chris Jericho in a submission match to retain the title in 8:57 by forcing Jericho to submit to the Tequila Sunrise.

Match #7: WCW United States Champion Booker T defeated Bret Hart in 23:21 to retain the title following the Harlem Hangover. After the match, Bret struggles to his feet and yanks the championship away from Booker. Booker seems ready for a fight, but Bret puts the championship around Booker’s waist and shakes the champions hand to show respect.

Main Event: Chris Benoit & Dean Malenko defeated WCW World Champion Kevin Nash & Scott Hall in 15:47 to win the vacant WCW World Tag Team Championships when Benoit pinned Nash after Goldberg made his return and speared Nash while attempting to deliver the Jackknife Powerbomb. After the match, Goldberg hit the spear and jackhammer on Scott Hall, as well. Goldberg grabbed the tag championships and awarded them to Benoit and Malenko. Goldberg walks up the aisle saying “I’m back. Nash.. your ass is NEXT!” The show concludes with Benoit and Malenko celebrating their championship win.
