End of show
My Take: Tatanka/Ramon was a fairly boring contest that consisted of a lot of chops and punches. It was obvious that their wasn’t going to be a clear cut winner, considering Ramon just recently regained the strap and Tatanka is fresh off a heel turn. The aftermath was done nicely, as I like the thought of Bigelow actually working with guys that fans actually care about instead of working with Doink the Clown.
It is great to have the British Bulldog back in the WWF. Bulldog looks to be in fantastic shape, as he usually is. Bulldog could be another leader for the New Generation as he is fairly young and hasn’t been given a main event push during his other runs with the WWF.
I’m not excited about the return of King Kong Bundy. WWF tries to promote itself as a younger company but they have Backlund, Neidhart and now King Kong Bundy returning to the company. Not a fan of that, and the video promo for Bundy was quite corny.
Diesel and Michaels feuding the New Headshrinkers? Talk about wasting away Diesel and Michaels in a depleted tag team division. Yikes.
Overall, the matches this week were not good. The only slighting entertaining stuff were the things happening after the matches and that usually lasted all of two minutes. So, not a good show.
Thanks for reading.
