Angle Developments/Notes:
1. We hear from the new WWF World Tag Team Champions, the Quebecers who regained the championships after beating 1-2-3 Kid and Marty Jannetty. Polo is happy they won the championships back and says they aren’t going to drop the titles to Bret and Owen because they didn’t plan on just losing them again.

2. Adam Bomb attacked Billy Gunn before the bell to give his team the early advantage. Billy quickly fights back with a hip toss and arm drag. Martel tags in but is taken down to the mat quickly by Billy. Bart slams Martel after he is dropkicked by Billy from behind. Bomb yanks down the top rope and Bart crashes to the floor. Bomb clotheslines Bart while the referee is distracted. Martel focuses his offense on Bart’s lower back. Bart nails Martel with a high knee in the corner and begins to make his way to Billy for a tag. Billy gets the hot tag and hammers away on Martel. Bomb is sent down with a double dropkick and to the floor with a double clothesline. Martel is driven down with a double side Russian leg sweep. Harvey Wippleman enters the ring to attack Bart as he covered Martel and that’s the finish. After the match, Martel is yelling at Wippleman and it looks like he is going to hit him. Bomb enters and they shove each other. They don’t end up fighting or anything, though.

3. Ray Rougeau conducts an interview with Bret Hart and Owen Hart to close the show. Ray asks Owen if everything is okay between the brothers. Owen assures Ray that everything is okay and that tonight is their tonight. Mind you, tonight is the Royal Rumble. Owen is happy that he is finally going to get his big break. Owen is acting like he is going to carry Bret on his rocket to the top. Bret Hart says everything is under the bridge and says they are going to the top. Bret says they are going to win the tag titles for themselves, their family and for their fans! There is no stopping them now!

Final Thoughts:
The featured bout this week wasn’t anything special, and the show overall was just boring to me. The promo to end continued to hint at something going on between Owen and Bret and how Owen is just obsessed with getting his big break. Considering the Royal Rumble was later on in the night, there wasn’t anything major going on here.
