4/10/1993
From: North Charleston, SC

Matches:

2.)Papa Shango defeated David Clements
3.)Tito Santana defeated the Brooklyn Brawler
4.)Lex Luger defeated Dale Wolfe
5.)Kamala defeated Duane Gill
6.)Mr. Hughes defeated JD Stryker
7.)Bob Backlund defeated Anthony Howard

Angle Developments/Notes:
1. Gorilla Monsoon is the host of the WWF Update this week. Mr. Fuji has filed a formal protest against the decision that Hulk Hogan has beaten Yokozuna to become the WWF World Champion. We will get a decision from Jack Tunney right here. Jack Tunney announces that since there was an oral contract, Hulk Hogan is the WWF World Champion!

2. Mean Gene conducted an interview with Mr. Fuji and Yokozuna. Yoko stepped on Gene’s foot as he was plugging a house show and Gene acts like he is in great pain. Yokozuna will be wrestling Jim Duggan on the house show market, apparently. They are going to lay Duggan out.

3. WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels is also interviewed by Mean Gene. Michaels thinks that Pat Riley could use a cheap shot artist like himself on his basketball team. Michaels asks if Mr. Perfect was so good wouldn’t he be challenging him for the championship? Instead, Michaels is challenging him!

4. To close the show Mean Gene interviews Bret Hart regarding an attack by Lex Luger before WrestleMania IX. Hart says he is getting back in his saddle and get back on top. Hart remembers the cheap shot from Lex Luger. Hart says that Luger is the first person on his list and he will be taking Luger out!

Final Thoughts:
Considering any of the arena stuff took place in March, there will be a few more shows where there isn’t anything fresh going on in front of a crowd. I’m liking the idea of a Michaels/Perfect feud and a Hart/Luger program. Luger working with Hart will be the biggest test to see if he can have a good run in the WWF or not. As for the show, it’s average I guess. There isn’t much going on, yet.

Thanks for reading.
